Extremely Bold statement considering that Sony barely update any game sales.
Sadly most companies are not as transparent as Nintendo, that's why we have users still quoting very old game sales like the 10m. sold from The last of us part II or the 11m. from Niche-Man 2.
As for Astro-Bot, the game hasn't even reached a year old and it was 2.3m sold before being put on bundles, Sony seems to be very happy about so dunno where it will land when it's all done and finished.

Check YT and look at the number of stream vods and videos with tons of views...

As someone that frequently shits on Ubisoft of the Wild, and its full priced DLC, rehash of the Kingdom. I dont see how people are shitting on this.
It just looks like a well crafted game, with plenty of features and interesting mechanics. A top tier single player experience, taking advantage of the newer hardware, what's not to like?
Its a trailer so shit could still go sideways, but if they actually deliver what they have shown i dont see why people are surprised by an appealing game drawing a bigger crowd than whatever the fuck Sony and Xbox shat out for there's.

Huh? Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft are all basically the definition of mainstream. Huge corporations with near universal name recognition. There's nothing remotely niche about an Xbox Presentation or a State of Play.
These numbers are only giving part of the story though, since these presentations are generally streamed by multiple channels, and the difference between the State of Play and the Donkey Kong Direct isn't huge.
Still, great performance for a single game Direct. The next general Direct is probably going to do insane numbers.
