It's a steal at $6. The very high end cars handle wonky, but it's a really nice PC game. There really isn't a sim alternative unless you want to go into uber sim territory, which isn't really possible without a steering wheel.

I know you think you're being clever, but the fact is, is that I can buy Shift 2 off of amazon for $24 right now. Only thing stopping me is that I have too many games to play already and it's not on steam.

I think I am going to pass on all the Need for Speed games. Under Cover seems to suck, Shift is simmish, and I just don't think I will likely HP very much.

Steam does weird things to the brain. I almost bought Hot Pursuit just now, just because I don't have an arcade-racer in my PC game library. But then I realized that I wouldn't even play the game, right now. I'm neck-deep in a bunch of other titles.

So, I'll wait for the summer sale, when it will be at-least this cheap, and might even hit $10-$12.

I'm sure I'm beaten, but it's a great game for short bursts of play. I used to love shooters and I loved TF2. Now I hate shooters and I still love TF2. It's just fun, man.
