I used Pinnacle with it and couldn't tell a difference between native support. Their pre-made profiles work really well. Worth the $20 imo. Better than the free alternatives anyway.

i couldnt find a match at all when i tried.check the numbers on steam stats top played games.

Not to be negative, but i feel the need to warn people in advance - Modern Warfare 2 is not worth 5 dollars. And this is coming from someone who has every modern warfare on both PC and xbox 360 - modern warfare 2 for the PC was famous for a lack of support on PC, MASSIVE amounts of cheating, yes, even on steam, there are so many exploits and hacks floating around for MW2 that if you played 100 games you would be hard pressed to remember 2 of them that didn't have more than one hacker running aimbots, wallhacks, and prestige hacks.

i loved modern warfare 2 on the xbox, but the pc version was utter garbage, and i bought it for full retail and own all the DLC as well, it NEVER got better. and what activision did to infinity ward is enough to make me encourage people to NOT support this title.

yikes, may have to pass. maybe he is exaggerating a bit though b/c of hatred of activision and others will weigh in.

I'm having an odd problem with Sonic Generations. I get no logos, no start menu, no ui, nothing. When I press start and move around I can hear me going through the menu, I just can't see any of it.

Plenty of great amazon deals, thanks for posting that. I've had an odd hankering to play CoD4, but maybe MW2 would be a suitable substitution for 5 bucks, but I see plenty of other great deals there too.

Maybe there will be a small Steam sale too for co-op games.

mw2 in a nutshell:

singleplayer: good, story make's no sense, but a great 'visceral' experience
co-op : very good, probably the best part of mw2 you can't play with randoms btw
multiplayer: average-poor, it's ok for a quick play now and then, hackers encountered last time I played was once in every 10 matches, no dedi's as well.


in all honesty the sp and co-op make up for the bad mp, you can easily get your money's worth just from that.

what do you mean? you don't own the games or you want to hide them?

if you want to hide them just change the list view to a different one like 'installed' or create a category for your games.

I had to create a mac category for Civ 4. It's dumb. Why can't they just both launch like most of the other steam plays?

Also you need to manually update PB because it sucks or you have to turn off d3doverrider, fraps and basically every GPU related program so PB doesn't kick you for 'cheating'.
