hot hot hanuman-on-man action
i still don't get the love for fallout 3 / skyrim / etc... big open empty worlds full of nothing interesting, boring combat, first person view. just a whole lot of stuff i don't particularly enjoy.

also everyone knows vita is the best way to play indies, even if you can't get em for a buck on sale.

This is all I'm saying. Stats probably gone, perks reworked, everything points you to a linear cave.

it won't be any worse than pointing to a procedurally generated cave holding a +2 gun of whatever

speaking of steam look at what I just found

thing is beaten to death buttons are all mushy and its filled with dust under the screen

but hey Persona 3 was on it and I also found Patapon 2

brb going to the toilet
The PSP is great, only thing I never liked was how the analog stick felt, whenever I played for extended periods of time it made my thumb sore, I guess that is one way to make sure I take a 15 minute break every hour.

I do need to get a PSP, there are a few games I'd love to play but aren't available on Steam/anywhere else like Maverick Hunter X, Mega Man Powered Up and the Dracula X Chronicles.

Serious Sam is a wicked gahbidge series for chowdaheads.

You can play the Fallouts in third person. People think it's weird, but that's how I play 'em.

Vita's one advantage over a PC, playing while taking a shit, will eventually give you hemorrhoids. I'll take having my games be forwards compatible for the foreseeable future any day.

Roids aren't a problem, just gotta remember to stay cool during QTE mashing, don't bear down.

After the success of Skyrim I would be very surprised if Bethesda doesn't dumb down Fallout 4 to just unprecedented levels.

Probably a controversial opinion because I see a lot of excitement surrounding the impending announcement.

The only way Bethesda could further "stream-line" and make Fallout "accessible" is if they drops VTAS completely and made it more of a straight up shooter. Like Borderlands but as a hybrid first/third person shooter so they could include a sticky cover system (like the way Deus Ex: Human Revolution jumps between first and third person) and lots of waist high objects to take cover behind.

What version of CIV V should I get? I've never played one of these games before, ever.

PSP was awesome. I spent many a night playing SOCOM till the wee hours of the morning.

So there isn't any way to get playfire rewards from achievements you've gotten before? I want to avoid playing games as much as possible.

Civilization V: Complete pack looks like it has everything. That's Civ V vanillla, the Gods & Kings and Brave New World Expansions as well as all of the smaller DLC's that include new Civs, wonders and scenarios.

It's 50$ and if you play through each Civ in a normal match just once, that's 42 Civs with an average game of say 8 hours. That's not even touching all of the different scenarios you can play, my favourite is Empires of the Smoky Skies.

Played more Tomb Raider reboot, not sure why, probably just to test my new graphics card. Anyways, it should make up its mind about what it wants to be. If it is going to be a shooter, it should have waaay more shooting. If it is going to be a platform/puzzle game, it should have waaay more platforming and puzzles.

As it is, it's like 5 minutes of climbing over shit, 5 minutes of shooting guys, then another extended cutscene of Lara being troubled. Exactly that kind of pace. I just want the game to shut the fuck up and cough up some content, but it has nothing. It's just run down this path, shoot these guys, watch Lara freak out.

I also installed Hitman Absolution. Is it the same way with the cutscenes? I mean just ditching all the climbing shit and making a one-thing-focused experience would probably be a vast improvement, but if it keeps butting in with stupid cutscenes like Tomb Raider, that would make it unpleasant.

How far are you in TR2013? Cause it's only really like what you describe at the very beginning for the most part.

Hitman Absolution is nothing like Tomb Raider in what you're asking.
It's actually not THAT bad if you haven't played any of the game prior. It's really simplified and if you want you can basically just play it as a shooter which is what caused a lot of controversy over it. By far IO inter actives most polished game though.

I just watched a plane crash.

Yeah, you're still in the very beginning sections I think then. Pretty soon, you won't get much commentary about how bad she feels about murdering and you'll get more combat if you want it and more platforming if you want it.

Areas become like the area where the plane crashed where you can explore for the collectibles or you can advance the story and deal with some platforming/puzzles/enemies in a steady mix for the most part.

Well then they certainly did their damndest to make this beginning 25% or whatever of the game the most intolerable kind of shit possible to drive me away from it.

So far the best part was when I blew up the gas and the guy was all blown up and dying and asking me to just finish it, but instead I stood there and watched him slowly choke to death, because he kind of represented the game itself to me.

If you're looking for classic tomb raider puzzle sections, you're going to be left wanting for the most part -- all of the "secret" tombs are pretty basic puzzles -- none take a lot of time or brainpower to figure out ... but it's a solid TPS with platforming (a la Uncharted), using the bow is fun, and the pace should pick up a bit shortly.

JaseC

gave away the keys to the kingdom.
So is there any chance that:

a) Trials Fusion on Steam wouldn't have uPlay

b) The port of the game itself was decent

I mean the game page doesn't list uPlay but does that mean anything?

All internally-developed Ubi titles since AssCreed 2 have used Uplay. The sole exception to this is Rayman Origins.

Sub Zero

Anybody want to split a Tropico 5 4-pack with me? Cheapest price I found on outpost was 20-21 keys which amounts to 5 keys/10.3 dollars per head.

From what I've played of the beta, it has better performance than Trials Evolution Gold Edition, solid 60 FPS with some slow texture load when restarting a longer level.
