Thanks catabarez for a quick and painless play-through of the portal 2 co-op achievements, almost forgot what a nice game it is.
If anyone else need help with it, feel free to shoot me a message.

Check the game's forum. You will probably get the keys before release.

What he said. We have a good track record of delivering keys so far. So hopefully it'll be the same this time 'round.

Anyway:

Awwww, yeah!

Time to destroy my petty bandwidth! 5% preloaded so far, I think I can make it to this friday!

Apparently keys have been sent to Groupees and Indiegala will follow soon - http://steamcommunity.com/app/291030/discussions/0/558753803754724734/#c558753804359093134

I've been following that thread, and I'm glad to see the dev has been responding to users. Speaking of which, the same dev has multiple other items on Greenlight, including Planet Stronghold, a game that was bundled with "Celebrating Open Source Humble Bundle" from around a month ago; it was Greenlit as well, though I have no idea when it's actually releasing on Steam.

I don't use inspector often, but I like when it is spelled out for me like that. Will do.

What is the typical method for knowing which compatibility to use? I guess everything below that is self explanatory.

Afraid it's only for games coming out in May :(

I'd like to recommend games, but I haven't personally played anything coming out in May :/ Not even Killer is Dead, though I did see a hype LP of it.

It's more of what you are hyped for, rather than whats already out, it showcases new and upcoming games that people might want to look into.

I was going to shoot you over a PM for Killer is Dead but didn't know if anyone else who has some impressions or has finished it planned to do so. If anyone did I'll leave it to them if not I'll rustle something together by next weekend if that's ok?

all yours.

That would be Gintama.

Haha, thanks!

I didn't know this, or at least I don't remember knowing it. Curiosity intensifies if this reflects what Steam will get.

That video made the rounds on NeoGAF when it first debuted :D.

Is Nvidia likely to throw in Watch Dogs when the 800 series launches? Have never actually bought a graphics card at launch before, so wasn't sure if the deals come right away or later.

You can always buy the game keys on third party sites like Ebay, as some people use them to offset the cost of the card. Thanks to miners, this is especially true for AMD card bundles.

So according to the first link you should be setting the LOD Bias to -1.0 if you plan on using 4x SGSSAA? Don't want to dwell too much, just reading through it. I guess according to the link within the first link, seems like using drivers to modify the LoD bias is less common.

Apologies for kind of speaking to no one. Just learning.

Nvidia added automatic lod adjustment a while back, shouldn't need to touch it.

This is great, thanks. At least I won't be bored in hospital.

Well I'd hardly call it riveting reading but last time I was in under day release all the literature available was a couple of crochet mags and a North Bristol PCT circular newsletter so it would have be miles better than those. Nothing serious I hope? All the best anyway!

Had that "don't-have-anything-to-play" funk despite having a pretty massive backlog. Been re-installing some games just to see what clicks and landed back on Prototype 2. I had so much fun playing and beating this game when it came out and I've been having a blast with it again. Turns out Prototype 2 has a New Game+ it allows you to keep all of your levels and upgrades you just have to re-unlock your powers because they're basically tied to story progress.

Prototype is just stupid fun. All it takes is two buttons, the A button and R trigger, and you're just flying around the city, running as fast as The Flash, leaping over buildings in a single bound like golden age Superman and devouring the city and its occupiers like some tentacle nightmare out of a dodgy Japanese cartoon.

It's kinda shitty that Activision shuttered Radical, they had the framework to make a couple of different superhero games, more than just kickass Hulk games.

With Microsoft ending support of Windows XP, I wonder how long Valve will continue with supporting it on the Steam client? I think that the last time they killed off support for a Windows version, it was 3 months after Microsoft ended support.

Nearly 6% of Steam users still use XP, which is more than Linux and OSX users combined, so they're probably not going to be in a hurry to drop XP support.

Coupon codes expire early tomorrow, should probably make sure you preorder today and just use your Playfire credits on something else if they aren't transferred in time.

Thanks for the suggestion, I went ahead and did just that.

Ironically, after my purchase, it deposited my Playfire credit into my GMG account.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.

True, but there is a difference between being "supported" and it working.

A lot of software will continue to work with XP, but now that XP support has officially ended from Microsoft it means that developers are now able to add features to their software that aren't available in XP.

My guess is that Steam will still work with XP for quite a while yet.

Be a bit of an issue for people who aren't in a position to upgrade their OS, wouldn't it? "Excuse me! You know that library of games you own on Steam? The ones you've been playing right along, the ones that run great under Windows XP? I hate to say this, but as of next week, you won't be able to play any of those games again until you upgrade your operating system to Windows 7 or later. We're genuinely sorry for the inconvenience."

That has to happen at some point though. There are already games that don't run on old operating systems. There are also games that won't run on new ones. When you have the ability to build a library spanning 25 years of gaming products, obsolescence is an inevitable scenario.

Well, Microsoft is basically saying "You know that OS you're using? Well, have fun with all the exploits and trojans that target it, because we don't give a fuck about you anymore!"
People on XP really should move on. It's only the big companies and governments that are stuck with antiquated specialist software that only runs on XP that are now paying through the nose for extra support from MS, but nobody else is going to get that, so...

Legends of Aethereus -- MB-0B717B65F252CB2C - Taken by TuckingFypo

So it's been almost a week since I opened a ticket against Steam support to deal with my Stormrise problem... and I've seen no response.

I don't want to seem like an impatient jerk, but should I be "bumping" my question with a comment? What's my best option here?

Dark Souls 2 may be unlocking on the 24th....

my source is Steam store page

don't toy with my heart, woman!

I think it's helpful with getting rid of filters like BF3's Blue filter or RE5's yellow filter.
yea i guess it's up to each

i tried it with farcry 2 and new vegas and i tried enb with dx:hr and in all those cases i went back to default

i guess you can spend some good time configuring it but i don't have the patience for it

You have to find someone with a more conservative style that has already configured all the options.
