wait...what? what do you mean first come first serve, its a raffle, so its random?
When a raffle ends, and nobody wanted the game during the raffle period, the games are given out as first come first serve. It will obviously not happen to the DS2 GA, but only the first post will be edited whit the the winner

Blockstory, a game that was Greenlit, is now available to buy at $7.99, a discount of 20% off. And before anyone asks, yes, some of the visuals do look like Minecraft.
I always find it weird whenever developers choose to have cube terrain and then go for a realistic approach to enemies/weapons/npcs.

I love Doom and all, but I miss your old avatar (the one you still have on Steam).

Yeah, I just bought it and played a little... Great game. Gonna spend a lot of hours with this.

Holy crap in a pita, I didn't realize it was the daily.
Everyone should buy it for that price.

I know Stump can manually change the post -- I'm not sure if he was working on a solution to get modbot to edit all posts or the latest post though (and if he was where it stands).
Speaking of, I'm curious about modbot -- Stump, if you ever want a hand with that sort of thing (coding new features or whatever, I'd be curious to find out what it takes and willing to help if I have the skills).

Oh god Dark Souls 2 is glorious. It looks amazing even on my rig and runs so smoothly compared to DkS1. (It defaulted on med-highish settings for me). Loving it.

Steam compressed SS from my char

You guys have so much health...
My screens don't show mine, but my health is ridiculously low... and I'm in the champions covenant... -_-;

Same here, ebgames, JB hifi, big W, etc, all stores don't seem to stock the 360 pad with the good dpad, so it may as well by a mythical creature since I've only heard of it from tales of other people but never actually seen it in person.
Besides there's only a wireless version of it, and after having to deal with rechargeable batteries on my Wiimotes, I'm not looking forwards to doing it all again. Long live the wire!

you are all wrong, including corrosivefrost's insane little anti-Solaire tirade (what kind of monster are you?).

you dont praise the sun, or JaseC's collection, or Gaben. There is but one thing to praise in the steam thread....Modbot!

I roll my eyes every time I see another game with this art style. Maybe they aren't clones of a certain popular title, but they sure look like it.

So, is Blockstory another Android to Steam release?

I'm not entirely sure which came first. The game's website lists PC, iOS, and Android as supported platforms.

I own all the Civilization games since I got that Sid Meier bundle.
Last Civ game I've played was Civ2.

Which one should I play next?

Either Civ IV with the Rhye's and Fall of Civilization mod, aka best mod, or Civ V.

Souls series is too tough for me =(

Use a guide. You don't have to go all-in, just peruse the major bullet points, particularly when about to enter a new area or if you've hit a wall. Try, try, try, go cry in a corner for a few minutes, try, try, then hit up wiki/gamefaqs. DS games rely on players helping each other with advice.

Amazing!

Which are the most important stats on DS?
I asume, Vitality, Stamina, Strenght and Resistance.

Dark Souls 1? Put all the points to resistance

Just kidding, resistance is useless. Endurance is the most important thing and vitality for new players. Then maybe Strength, depending on your future class.

The main issue I have with not being able to go farther into any of the Souls games is that when it comes to combat....I like to go all LEEEEEEROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOY! on monsters asses.
Funnily enough the Ys games achieve that for me. My brain sadly is too impatient to plan things through even though I can take my time with the areas I play through, but I guess I don't have much time in the day to devote it solely for Dark/Demon's Souls.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
Here's a sneak peek at what I'm working on this morning:

"Why doesn't Steam already do this?"

Souls series is too tough for me =(

At first I was like that with Demon's Souls. I could never beat the first level boss. There was a point where I just stopped playing and became one of the very few people that were like, "yeah this game is hard, there's no way any enjoyment can come out of this".

Then, I revisited the game with some persistence to beat it and I did. And just like that, everything clicked. It was like magic and I was addicted to the Souls series.

Same thing with me and Dark Souls tbh. Seems we grew to relish the psychological abuse.
