Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
Feeling bad is good. That's the first step to becoming a flappier goat. Keep flapping.

I saw a mod in the workshop that put flappy goat in full screen. Gonna check that out later when going for that achievement.

It's a solid effort. The combat/stealth translated pretty poorly, but exploration makes up the vast majority of the playtime and it gets pretty satisfying once you get used to the map.

Yeah, I'm not far into it just yet but the map is a little hard to make sense of.

Watch_Dogs preordered. One of the few games I buy Day 1.

I hope they don't pull a Rome:Total War II; especially since they've had 7 extra months to work on it.

JaseC, you said before that G2A.com is not reputable? I had purchased a Uplay key for Splinter Cell Blacklist and it activated, but I guess I'll avoid it from now on.

Just beat Sleeping Dogs. I recommend this game to anyone that is into open-world action/adventures. Loved Wei Shen and
poor
Jackie, and hope to see a sequel in the future.

Hong Kong neon lights on wet pavement are a treat for the eyes.
Sleeping Dogs is a really fun game, it's one of the few games that I've 100%'d.
The story was really good, even if it was a bit weird at times
Wei Shen getting a drill put into his knee and then 15 minutes later he's round-house kicking people.
but still, loved playing it especially the combat, the environmental takedowns you can perform are brutal!

Can't wait for Sleeping Dogs 2(It'll happen! ;-; )

G2A deals in resold keys, which have the potential to cause issues down the line since proof of purchase resides on the seller's end and so you may lose your game if a duplicate key ticket is raised with EA/Valve/Ubisoft/whoever else.

jon bones

hot hot hanuman-on-man action
will I like The Book of Unwritten tales if I love point and click adventures but dont care a bit about the game's setting or artsyle?

is this on sale yet? it's the last pnc on my wishlist now that i finally have a nice rig to play it on!

After what happened to Jackie, I was damn driven to take down Big Smile Lee
. It was an exotic GTA without all the extra fat. We need more A/B games like this in between AAA and indie.

SoulsGAF update:

Currently, the user Gbraga is in "touch" with an unidentified source who's playing the PC build of Dark Souls 2. The following is a list of "confirmed" settings found in the game:

1080p at 60fps
Several graphics options. Textures, shadows, effects, AA, AO, blur, anisotropic filtering, water quality, depth of field and etc.
There's an option that will automatically lower your graphics to mantain performance
Really fast loading times. Don't even have time to read an entire tip

No PS3 buttons either. I guess that's to be expected,

Yeah, I hear the performance's great. Solid 60. I don't know their rig though.

When asked about the lighting:

Seems like it's closer to consoles. Not sure how much better, but not TGS level.

He will try to gather as much information as possible for all of us.

Well, I won't buy from them again. I'm not willing to push my luck with something as shady sounding as that. Thanks for the warning for the future.

That's good to know. If it's too good to be true, it probably is.

I got Sleeping Dogs from Gamesrocket.com. Is that one safe?

Would appreciate some recommendations! Looking to spend around $5, something old school, a bit fast paced, can run on a pretty shit PC... yeah that's about it. I've browsed but can't really find much and the selection/variety is overwhelming. Also got a new wired 360 controller and would like to play with that as the k/m set up hurts the ol' wrist.

Was browsing isthereanydeal and was looking for some good alternatives for you.

Shelter - Fun, short game with an excellent art style and premise.
Jet Set Radio
Max Payne 3 - Make sure the DRM: Steam is at the very top.
Bully - Check Pcgamingwiki for the 60 FPS patch and other tweaks.
Bioshock 2 - Great game, just got a Steamworks patch with Achievements and other fixes. Controller support is in there and should run on an older PC.
Sleeping Dogs - One of my favorite games of that year. Best game of its kind last generation.

Galak-Z feels a lot more like Luftrausers than PixelJunk Shooter.

I like the sound of that.

Good to see Sony convince everyone that another game that isn't exclusive that it's exclusive.

Console-exclusive?

I will. I just picked up a new laptop today so I have been messing with that (getting all the bloatware off and getting the OS up to date) but I will definitely be trying out the game some time tonight and will post some stuff.

Thanks -- I still have a tab open to the storepage.

Like Spelunky or other great indie games you could play it everywhere on the superior handheld ;)

Stop whining. You and your score of 16(?) flappy goats made me feel like shit when I only barely managed 6 ;(

I like your stance on Vita. I do not like your tone otherwise, sir. :p

Yikes, I just got Southpark from them. Hopefully nothing happens. I'll just stick to steam sales & Nuuvem.

Remember that new game by the Dustforce devs?

Spire is a first-person adventure game about exploring and ascending an ever-changing tower. Players will have to master the movement and combat systems in order to overcome the unlimited challenges that await. Spire is being developed by the independent studio, Hitbox Team, and is expected to be released in late 2015.

They are going to have some development streams over the next few months. I'm excited to see how the game looks now.

I think Gamesrocket is fine. That incident is just a region confusion.
http://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/..._do_not_purchase_gw2_from_gamesrocket/c5ql3ri

As you can see it's still listed as an official retailer on GW2 website.
https://www.guildwars2.com/en/retailers/#Germany-digital

I wasn't referring to the bait-and-switch with the key region but this excerpt in particular:

[ArenaNet] replied again saying GamesRocket is not an authorized retailer.

Since GamersRocket remains listed on the GW2 website, though, I assume the CSR was just misinformed.

What makes Sleeping Dogs so good, is, just about every aspect of the game is Focused and fleshed out. Usually in open world games, being that they incorporate so many different game play aspects, most of those aspects tend to suffer. However in Sleeping Dogs, it's as if every mechanic is focused on and thought out and refined. The driving, the Shooting, the fighting, the missions, etc. And the convenience factor to make things more accessible to the user.....then the Non game play aspects are fully developed as well, such as story, music, graphics, etc...it's just a well developed game imo and I hope the next game that the developers are working on is just as good.

Was browsing isthereanydeal and was looking for some good alternatives for you.

Jet Set Radio

Um What? Since when was this available for PC? Am I going to have to rebuy this game for a third time?

.....sigh

I am just missing one achievement for Goat Sim. I hate Flappy Goat.

Become the flappiness.

when I got 11 I laughed at your 4. LAUGHED

it's pretty amazing how it has real leaderboards

Shining example of how to troll your buyers. ;)
Nabs sitting there with 14 gave me the motivation to finish the achievement.

Yeah, I'm not far into it just yet but the map is a little hard to make sense of.

I have trouble with the maps too (assuming you mean Blackgate HD). You can sort of make sense of them after awhile, but it's not exactly easy either.

So these are my initial impressions on Halo Spartan Assault

So far the best part about the game is that its Halo. If it wasn't Halo, this type of game probably wouldn't draw as much interest from me to be honest. Its pretty basic. It looks like there are 4-5 operations with 5 or so levels each. Each level so far has been pretty short, it maybe only takes 5 minutes to complete. Similar to mobile games, each level has a possible 3 stars (bronze, silver and gold) based on how many points you earn during the level. At the start of a level you are able to select a load out of two weapons and some type of armor upgrade. The default load out is "free" and to change the default load out you must spend XP gained during previous levels. You can also select from 6 handicaps (up to 2) that will multiply your XP gained during that level. It looks like in order to get a gold star at the end of the level you probably need to use a handicap. Examples are: one handicap makes your armor deplete as you are firing a weapon, another gives weapons you pick up less default ammo. You get points or XP from killing enemies and from kill bonuses like double and triple kills, etc.

Its what you would expect from a Halo game in terms of the types of aliens you are fighting and the weapons that are available. Like other Halo games you usually run out of ammo from your default load out and have to pick up enemy weapons along the way. You also get grenades, which are fun, and some levels have cannons that you can get inside and blow up aliens.

Each level has some type of objective you have to complete, like destroying 3 objects or escorting vehicles.

The game has steam cloud support, achievements and cards, which make it very Steam friendly. Even if you don't like the game you can get cards to sell or a badge to craft or if you are lucky a booster pack. The game also has full controller support, which I haven't tried yet. I wish the game had some type of local/online co-op.

The game is fun, but not mind blowing. Definitely a casual unless you go for 3 stars on every level, but even then so far the levels have all been so short its probably not a huge pain to grind out the 3 stars. All in all I am glad I bought it, but unless you are a Halo fanatic there probably isn't a huge rush to go out and buy it. Its currently on sale on the Windows 8 Storefront and xBox Live store, so I would expect this to be on sale at some point.

Here are some screen shots I took and uploaded to Steam:

QUESTION about JSR...for those who own it on Steam...

can you import Jpegs and use them as graffiti? On the dreamcast version you could do it using a website (which you obviously cant anymore) and on the 360 version you just couldn't.

So I'm wondering if on the PC version if you can or if someone in the community has found a way already to let you?

Yep. Someone from here actually created a mod that can import your own png files (even supports transparent png). Grab V5: https://code.google.com/p/image2graffiti/downloads/list

Pick the save folder, then replace the graffiti with your own (128x128 / 512x512 / 512x128). You then have to go in game and pick it from the graffiti list (it's the custom slot).

Custom graffiti enhances the fun so much. It's also the reason I don't have a single JSR screenshot uploaded on my account even though I spent hours 100%-ing the game, all my graffiti featured a specific celebrity in sensual poses which was embarrassing as shit (no, not Saoirse).

Watch_Doggies Deluxe get. I can't wait for Uplay to delete my save 96 hours in.
That's half the fun of these games!
But seriously, I'm glad I've not bothered to try and 100% many games on uPlay, I don't know if I could handle that, having to replay the first 3-5hrs of BLands Two 6 times was bad enough.

Losing save files sucks, I still haven't finished L.A. Noire because 14 hours in my save file got corrupted.

JaseC

With only 3 collectibles left to find.

Haha, I can't remember how far I was into the game exactly. I think my sync was sitting at around 70%.
