Let me spin you a tale my friend. There used to be a time in a faraway land where people only used to buy games that they intended to play. A foreign concept, I know, but this is no fairy tale, it actually happened!

I've been on Steam since day 1 (11+ years) and I "only" have 137 games.

I would create a SteamGAF club on GTAV but I'm already making a group with the people I play CS:GO with. You guys are welcome to join though. I'll post the name on here once the game come out or you can pm me if you wanna join.

I used to buy only games I want to play *prehistoric prebundle times*.
In your case, that's only 12 games a year, a game per month. I play more than that. I wonder who is more insane of us two.

This is a new one. Had a spam bot appear on the IRC channel I go to posting a link to a video of someone "raging" about a game with the text "My Co-worker literally has played this ALL day..."

Has to be the worst attempt at viral marketing I have ever seen.

I did a ton of console gaming during the 360's lifecycle, but even if you add all that in to Steam it wouldn't push me much over 200, if at all.

Playing virtually nothing but WoW during college probably doesn't help my number either.

Hello everyone.

So to make things more convenient and really have a polished game that everyone can enjoy we are going to be doing the game in episodes!

What this means is we will be launching the game May 1st. You will have 5 fully finished levels with the story included. We will also be having horde mode back in game.

End of summer will have the second episode out

End of the year we will have the 3rd episode out.

This is the most ideal way that way we can really focus on specific areas of the game, and ultimately it will give you the best experience possible!

No there will not be any additional charge for the episodes! These will come free.

This means no more early access on June 1st!

What to expect as each episode comes out.

New Enemies
More Story
New A.I
New Spells
New Weapons
New levels
and more.

We appreciate everyone's patience! This is the best way to give back

Currently playing Remember Me and it's hard to believe this came from the same guys that made Life is Strange! The story is terrible >_<

It's a good premise but not enough is done to flesh out the world
Unlikable main characters (I want to strangle Edge every time he speaks, your most generic socialist stereotype)
Plain bad writing (some extremely cringe worthy lines in this)

On top of this there is a betrayal about the mid part of the story (and it's so painfully telegraphed I hesitate to call it a spoiler) but the main character still trusts this person afterwards! What the hell!?

The gameplay is average too, only thing going for it is the premise and aesthetic.

It's really unbelievable they did Life is Strange after this o_O

Maybe they learned from it! Who knows. I'm going to play Remember Me soon. Life is Strange made me interested.

Team played well at a good tempo and weren't wasteful with possession despite going 1-0 down early on... until getting an injury and having to shuffle things around and then they started acting like a bunch of thugs, hacking any opposing player down who got near to them. This culminated in getting a player sent off right before halftime. Still despite that was still having more of the ball and knocked in another goal but certainly something needs to be done about the aggressive approach to defending.

So for my first proper friendly against much better opposition in Bournemouth's Under 21 side I pulled back all non essential players from tighter marking and only had the defensive player press aggressively. It's still early doors and no one is close to match fit so I'm expecting a slight loss but...

Despite getting absolutely stomped and only having 1 shot on goal that thankfully was on target and went in Bath only went and bloody won. Still a little bit aggressive defensively but tackles were clean and won the ball more often than not. Like to see Jose mastermind that.

You can play the game without paying. They're one of those games that are great on short bursts.

Also think about it - if free to play you could tell something is trash, what about those that you already paid? O:

Yes, I have plenty of games not on Steam as well. 10 years on Steam is really misleading because it really just shows when I bought HL2. I didn't really start PC gaming until 5 years ago, and even then I bought most of my multiplayer games on console because my friends didn't have gaming PCs until a couple of years ago.

But really I just don't buy a lot of bundles, and only (mostly) buy games on sale if I intend to play them. Especially now that my backlog feels like it's decades long, it's hard to justify purchases unless I'm really sure I'm going to play the game.

Edit: Plus Japanese games were mostly only on consoles until very recently, and that accounts for a large percentage of my game purchases.

You might want to keep looking in that case. I mean I guess I'm a bit frugal with money, but other than that, I don't think I've ever been accused of being responsible.
