You know, it's interesting, of the KS games I track... I would say about 50% of them have been delayed for a Unity 5 switch. Either Unity 5 is a big upgrade or Unity is cutting off support for developers for Unity 4, because it's remarkable how many of them are switching and delaying their games to do so.
i was at a unity 5 talk a few months ago and it seems it's mostly visuals stuff, tho it didn't sounds like something too mindblowing

big changes to their audio system i think too

not much for 2d which disappointed me when i was at the talk since i was considering working on unity before moving to haxe

Unfortunately I figure the third option is "we need to do something... how about we upgrade to Unity 5? That sounds like it is something good and should buy us another 6 months".
yeah this might be it, really

yeah, pretty much .... you've got about 18h left, use them wisely ;)
trying to, the clock is ticking

I'm putting together the May OT, and need some game recommendations! So far I've got commitments and/or write-ups from:
  • The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - zkylon
  • Neon Struct - turfster
  • Magicka 2 - MRORANGE
  • Wolfenstein: The Old Blood - Dr Dogg
If anyone else is interested in contributing, let me know. The only requirement is that the game must be released on Steam during the month of May. If you'd like to write a recommendation drop me a PM.
cool that you thought my writeup was ok :>

Don't worry, you'll be able to watch! You like watching, don't you~

Is A story aboout my Uncle worth it?
hmm

i feel like it's not a game that leaves you with much of anything after you're finished with it, so i'd probably say no. it's like a good game to find in a bundle and casually play for an afternoon but not one like i'd go and buy on its own

mostly because while there's something liberating about the way it does like first person platforming (basically it's super forgiving with the swinging and double and triple jumps and hovering and shit) so it's definitely enjoyable to play but it never becomes much more than a short series of easy platforming puzzles

it's really cheap tho, so who knows

im torn if I should pre order W3
don't be

preorder it :>

Someone should do Project CARS. I don't know much about it but think it would be good for the OT

Sadly not. Sega of America has been absolutely quiet about it when asked. I fear that Sega of Japan is not giving them a lot to work with and many of the events are heavily tied-in with shows, restaurants and other media which would make it difficult to license out here. Interestingly enough, there IS an official English version, but it's limited to the South East Asia territories and there's no way to get on those servers to play.

Blergh. Will probably never play this then. Even though if just for a little bit. D:

Should probably just play PSO 1 again someday.

Cascadia Games is proud to announce that it has licensed the rights to create a sequel to the classic MS-DOS racing game, Wacky Wheels! Race like it's 1994 all over again.

Greenlight

I remember enjoying the demo of the first one, but not enough to go out and buy it. Still, if they can make a fun arcade racer that isn't simply banking on nostalgia, more power to them, and I might even give it a look.

I never really got into Killing Floor 1 but the second is pushing all the right buttons for me, that 200fps gun porn is something I need. And you can't really beat $30.

Finished FF7.

Even got all of the achievements.
...Though I did use cheat-engine to get the 99,999,999 gil one.

Because that achievement is just goddamned horseshit.

For you.
You need to uninstall that driver, reboot and install the new driver full. It is what I would do.

nah, this driver outright deactivates the LCD on the laptop i'm using. My brother also had the same model of this laptop and the driver would do the same. There's no solution for this other than rolling back to factory drivers( THANKS AMD), which I did, but now Steam simple doesn't launch at all. It goes to the "connecting steam account" phase and then it just shuts down. That includes the process, it's all shut down. Tried many fixes(flushconfig, disabling anti-virus, removing everything but the steam.exe and steamapps folder from the program files, etc)

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.

That one didn't even take me as long as it took to get the Materia Overlord achievement. 65 hours well spent!

Well.. I just spoiled myself. Tried out Resident Evil 6 at 1440p@120hz. I literally sat there and just moved around the mouse for a good 2 to 3 minutes just being amazed at the look and feel of it. How can you go back to 60fps.

Pascal needs to hurry up so I can build my desktop and play more demanding games at that frame rate.

This isn't something you can explain to someone. They just need to look at it in person and feel it. Holy hell. How can I go back. 30fps is just downright unsatisfactory now. There's no way on Earth I can play a game locked at that. Man, even a game of chess would benefit from this.

Nice to see that AMD does that for dual GPU setups. Wife's laptop is perma broken because of this.
