I think CA could work quite well in the Arkhamverse, especially used as some form of distortion when Bats it off his face to some Scarecrow toxin. Certainly a much better better fit then the fantasy setting of Lords of the Fallen.

Hard to say whether or not it'll hit the PC since there are no official sales figures for THPS HD. SteamSpy estimates 90k~100k owners on Steam, however the number is meaningless without a point of comparison.

The gore in Killing Floor 2 is pretty disappointing. Doesn't feel anywhere near as dynamic as they were selling it as. Seems to only be one kind of headshot and the skin shedding isn't all that exciting. There have been times where an enemy been on the ground and I shot it with no visible damage. Sadly not the successor to Soldier of Fortune 2 that some of us were hoping for

And while bloodstains stay throughout the match the actual gore disappears pretty quickly. Game is still fun though.

So, Steam keeps suggesting Quake 3 Arena to me (as well as the others) after I installed Quake Live. I haven't played Quake 3 since launch year when I played it a fuckton, so my memory is hazy - Why would I want Quake 3 Arena for $20 when I have Quake Live for free? From my memory they play the same.

IIRC: slightly different movement physics and stats, mods (mostly CPMA and especially Defrag), no map rotation (I am assuming a free QL account), and LAN support.

So yeah, if you are more casual in Quake, you might not see the difference. Defrag is pretty cool, though (there is a Race mode in QL but I dunno what's the difference between it and Defrag. Although people on the forums are still asking for Defrag in QL, so they might not be the same).

I assume kf2 has actual servers whereas GTAV is peer to peer.

Which explains why you lag in gtav. I do too. Unless I am in a heist with friends.

Isn't Dubai considered a high-class city? No high-speed internet over there?
I'm on a 1mbps connection at home, but I have no problem with GTA Online. Perhaps it's because the game is peer-to-peer and I only play with my fellow country crew members.

Internet is high speed but behind several filters to keep the smut out of their pure society. This affects live streaming and online multiplayer too.

I'm on a 10x slower connection and end up with the similar pings (I get 250+). A bit close to you though, except more situated in the East.

I've gotten used to playing with bad pings though. >_>

Yeah, latency is mainly affected by the distance between our location and the server. No matter how fast the speed, we'll only get huge latency if connecting to a far server.
