My right ear piercing got infected out of nowhere and just stopped oozing blood after several days.

And my allergies are awful, can't remember the last time I could smell or hear well. Pollen season makes it worse but being allergic to mold makes it always terrible.

:D I hope that we will get more than Challenges for CooP. Separate campaign that would be expanded with DLC-s would be nice because SP CooP won't happen.

Yeah can imagine the campaign would be a pain to factor in 2 players with the possibility of one dropping in and out. Freeroam on the other hand... *squeeeeeeeeeeee!!!*

i played like 10 minutes of broken age act 2

not much to say yet, i feel like i'm a bit biased now thanks to that rps review, but there seems to be a lot of talking at least early in shay's side and there's already like lots of puzzles being introduced that seem kind of obtuse

gotta play more than like 10 minutes, but yeah it feels kinda weird to jump right into the middle of the game

also i can't seem to switch to vella? might unlock that later on i guess?

Personally, I loved it. I did every single side mission and it took me around 70 hours.
There were some frustrating moments, but mostly because I kinda made those moments frustrating. Path of the Damned and the Zero Knockout achievements were a tough combo. I reloaded a lot.
I think 2 hours were spent fighting the Adra Dragon. I killed it 3 times before finally being able to kill it, while keeping the adds at bay and not having one of my companions die in the process. It was really rewarding.
The Adra dragon, some of the bounty missions and the two fights with Raedric were probably the most difficult fights in the game for me

It's not a perfect game, but I guess my problems with it comes from the fact that they were set on doing a Baldur's Gate spiritual successor, instead of a Planescape Torment spiritual successor.
Because, while I like the combat, I think there are too many fights in Pillars and no way to avoid them, except during some side quests.

Anyway, the story is great. I like how souls have such an important role in this universe. Exploring this theme, the connection with the gods, the role of the ancient Engwithans and
the uncertainty of the universe
... it's all pretty great.
Oh, and I came to like all the companions as well, even Durance!

I can't wait for the expansion, hoping that they'll reduce the mandatory fights and create more ways to avoid them :)

i kind of agree with the whole planescape thing

it's not really a fault of the game, but it's just that imo there are better games to mimic than bg, specially cos really i'm never too much of a fan of combat in these games, tho i guess it was pretty fun in divinity

tho i really wish instead of planescape they'd based their next game off fallout, just because fallout's mechanics are so cool with like all the non-combat skills and crap. not like post-post-apocalyptic or anything, just the way the game functions. i hope they do something really creative with the setting next, like that voodoo thing jesawyer mentioned once, or whatever

Allergies suck, hope you get better, lately when I'm walking on the street, tree's crap get in my eyes and I end up crying like a baby because of it, and people think I'm crazy.

A mix of Planescape and Fallout would be godly. Meaningful skills, lots of non-combat options to progress in the game and real time with pause combat.

No, really. Combat should remain like in Pillars. The superior option.
I already lost Numenera to turn based combat and Dragon Age is getting worse and worse. I need my fix! :p

But yeah, I hope to see them do something truly unique and creative next. Channeling old games is all good and well, but Obsidian can do more.

Dead Rising 2 was one of the most goofy and fun experiences I had in coop. I'd be cool with just challenge modes but coop free roam would be bliss.

i know it's not like original or whatever, but i would actually really like a modern day rpg, kinda like bloodlines or something

i love city settings for rpgs and would love a game set in like the underworld of a modern metropolis or whatever

it's just a setting i really enjoy from my days playing masquerade i guess

with the added benefit of not having like giant spiders

tho obviously something really unique would be awesome as well

as for combat, i'm more a turn based person since real time always felt too fast for me but tbh i don't care enough to fight too hard for one or the other

i just love the focus of fallout in like usable items and skills and just general game mechanics that are very creative and have multiple uses. i'm much more of a fan of that than like having classes and magic and all of that

which i guess is not what most people would argue for but it's what i like

Yep there's a Nightwing in there. How Nightwing, Robin, Catwoman and Azreal fit into the story I don't know yet but from the last couple of teasers and the leaked trailer which officially goes up later it looks like the first 3 feature in some awesome tag team combo action in one of the modes. Though as dex say's probably not for the single player campaign but fingers crossed details will be out later today or soonish.

Yeah, he found out about that a little later. I'm not sure why I'd long believed Acti owned game. Maybe I looked at a fan-made cover that had the wrong legal info.

I was lucky enough that my neighbour was a doctor and she recommended my mom really good doctor that solved my asthma and allergies problem. I was allergic to dust, ambrosia and pollen and spring was really tough time for me. But dc insisted that i use minimal amount of medicaments and that my organism needs to fight. That was when i was 8-9 years old. And few years later (beginning of high school) Everything was gone. Now i don;t have any issues and i can spend whole day in dusty environment or on open areas during spring without issues. But because i had issues since i was 6 year old there was a period before i went to that doctor and i was taking some serious medications and i was on inhalations every week and because of that i now have week teeths and my lung volume/capacity is not that great.

I hope that you will be fine in couple of days/weeks.

And regarding Batman MP. Online COOP =/= MP :D

Eh, I'd LOVE an RPG set in the modern world. Alpha Protocol and Vampire Bloodlines are both amazing. But apparently they don't sell enough :/

Oh, and I hate giant spiders as well, simply because they're everywhere. Why not creating a disgusting version of an insect for a change? Or, better yet, no disgusting giant things at all?

Yeah, turn based combat is totally fine of course. I loved it in Divinity, for example. Unfortunately I much prefer rtwp :p

Oh, I'm not much of a fan of classes either. At least not in single player game. I like to create a character the way I like it, without restrictions.

You are free to ignore, upvote or downvote anything, it's your choice. I simply post what's interesting on greenlight because I go through those piles of shit daily, if you were, you would know that what I post is basically amazing... comparing to the rest, that doesn't mean that you need to jump on every half decent game. As I said it's your choice. ;)

If the Nightdive/NOLF situation shows, legal ownership to distribute software is a lot more complicated than a copyright notice on the back of a box. I mean let's look at it this way who legally owns the sourcecode to Wolf 09? Is it Raven or by proxy Activision? Did the contract allow this to be distributed without prior permission after any distribution deal expired? Who knows but it's a situation that needs a lot of questions answered before assumptions are made. Granted there's fat chance they'll get answered but hey nothing wrong with trying.
