Steam Autumn Sale Thread of Your Wallet Giving Thanks *Gobble Gobble*

So tempted to double dip on ME2. But it has no controller support and no DLC :/.

Wow, I'm shocked that it doesn't have controller support. I don't care about the DLC. I guess I could just play with KB/M but I'd much rather comfy couch it.

Last sale cost me something like 90 euros. Can't afford that much this time.

Orcs Must Die and Renegade Ops are tempting...

and believe me, planet scanning with a mouse sucks ass

I ended up just using a save game editor to just give myself max minerals cause of that bullshit

I wonder what the chances are of this happening.

I'd imagine very low. I don't think I've ever seen a major release get discounted within the first month of its release.

My hope is that GMG does something, but I think they'll only do something if another digital distributor cuts Skyrim for the weekend.

Picture gets me every time

Anyways: Buy Orcs Must Die! Awesome timewaster, I'm tempted to buy the DLC but I haven't finished the base game yet... Also, I know for sure I'll buy Cthulhu Saves the World this time, and if Witcher 1, The Void, Killing Floor, Psychonauts or EDGE get even cheaper they'll be insta-buys.
Oh nice, Cthulhu/Breath of Death pack is $1. Didn't get it during the halloween sale but I will now.

not making the same mistake i did this summer, seeing a decent looking albeit old title and just going for it. gonna do a lot more research (youtube lol) even if it is a £5 purchase.

e.g GRID - had a lot of problems setting it up first, and then found the servers for PC/PS3 were shut down, but 360 is still running. on top of that it looked kinda crud and i didnt like the gameplay.

total waste of money, not much but it was a waste.

Dang, my wishlist is full of games that are 50% off. Nothing in the dailies, though, so I'll stay strong.

also: come on Activision, $30 for a year old game? Not only that, but a year old Call of Duty game. I guess they get away with it, but I would actually buy these games if they were priced in line with everything else.

For FPS fans:

Hard Reset - $15
Brink - $10
Metro 2033 - $10(by far the best of the bunch)
Red Orchestra 2 - $27

For RPG fans:
Alpha Protocol - $10
Dungeon Siege III - $33.5
Neverwinter Nights 2 - $10

COD games are in a different plane of existence. Normal sales/prices don't apply to them. The sooner people get over this, the sooner we won't have people during every sale bitch that COD isn't cheap enough.

This has been on sale for i believe 2.00 multiple times this year. I can guarentee it will be lower.

You're gonna put shitty-ass over-priced Dungeon Siege III on there, but give no mention to Risen? I'm shaking my head here, sir.

I still don't understand why people like this game.

Amazing atmosphere, lots of great tension, incredible graphics, etc?

Maybe. I hope they're taking part in the Christmas sale, cuz I'm waiting out SSFIVAE and Dead Rising 2: OTR.

Oh yeah, forgot I wanted DR2: Frank West Edition. I remember trying to find a physical copy of the PC version and all I got were some blank stares from EB employees.

I have SSF4 on 360 but I never did pick up AE. If the full game goes under 15 bucks I might grab it here.

Damn that's shitty. It's only $5, but maybe I'll just hold onto my money. Portal 2 is still calling my name.

I would have considered Risen if it didn´t have TAGES DRM with limited activations. There is no excuse for having that in your game on Steam this long after the initial release. No buy now, not even for that price.

What do you guys think? Will Witcher 2 go to $16 or lower? It's only 33% off right now, and Amazon has it for 60% off, and that version's DRM-free.
