It definitely appeared to be similar to FFXV in terms of gameplay. While I am looking forward to playing XV, I was really hoping the FFVII Remake would maintain some resemblance to the old game (mechanically).

On the flip-side, outside of the game mechanics, that was a good bit of fan service for the opening sequences of the original game. That was a pretty good realization of Biggs, Wedge, and Jessie in modern graphics, without significantly redesigning them. Most of the sequences in the trailer are straight out of the original game with slight tweaks, and while the dialogue seems to be redone it's still pretty similar. Which I guess you would expect for a remake, but it's still refreshing to see that they aren't just throwing everything out. Wedge's voice is pretty bad though, and at appears they aren't making him any less of a joke character, which is unfortunate.

They didn't show anything beyond the tutorial sections of the game though, so it's likely not super far along in development. Still, good to see some actual gameplay.

Nioh is the one that interests me the most. However, fairly sceptical about Team Ninja (or basically any Japan studio doing PC stuff) since the Japan devs tend to ruin their games a bit when transitioning over. Hope all these devs can "git good" with their ports
