Anybody knows why Sniper Elite V2 doesn't show up in my games library unless I've installed it? I grabbed it today while it was free on Steam.
theHunter has reminded me a few things, I dislike hunting and get no sense of satisfaction or fun from it.
I quite dislike pop-up in games, especially when there is no technical or engine limitation causing it and rather just poor development in a title. A tree shouldn't just suddenly pop up out of the ground ruining a shot simply because I walked a mm forward.
Anyroad, for those that want to try it out and get some playfire credit, it is free and only has the "try for the first time" requirement. If you don't see it on the store (depending on region) you can still get it by typing steam://run/253710 into a web browser and loading it up that way.
So starts me playing Super House Of Dead Ninjas yet again. I love this game.
Whatever one wants as one can bind it as they see fit. For Valve they decided to use them by showcasing them as Toggle Zoom/Middle Mouse and Crouch/Left Control respectfully.
I've seen other examples such as Crysis 2 for stealth and armoured, for a RTS they were Pan To Unit and Pan to General, Mirror's Edge had it be 180 degree turn and the hint button, and others simply used them for general controls such as Push to Talk for chat or Steam Overlay button.
Others simply didn't use them at all and some games of course don't need all the buttons in the first place so they will be unused unless one feels comfortable hitting those rather than the trigger/top buttons.

Looking at my friends list many who started playing Risen stopped about 2 to 2.5hrs in. I wonder why? It only gets boring towards the end imo.

Trying Magic 2014 atm... Just misclicked skip attack and lost a long match because of it. As I was cursing myself I got an achievement for it to add insult to injury :/.
It's around 7 ("Standardversand - alle anderen Artikel*" I presume
), so it would cost pretty much the same.This said, I don't know why but I always (since PS2 I think) found controllers prices to be way higher than what I'd be fine paying. :/
Idling for cards? i have 2,2h and have never actually played it.

It seems to be a common misconception that installing Enhanced Steam on a Chromebook is a replacement Steam client - that you can download and play your Steam games as long as you have Enhanced Steam installed. This is mostly just a byproduct of being one of the most popular extensions on the Chrome web store.
I even added this to the description:
But people keep leaving 1 star reviews because they can't use it to play Watch_Dogs on their Atom-powered Chromebook.

That makes sense. Around 2 hours in, the initial sense of mystery and exploration is giving way to the frustration inherent in the genre. You have to fight in Risen, but the combat is unforgiving and you're incredibly weak-- no armor, no shoes, no skills, and only the weakest of weapons. Their choices here are to a) master basic combat by being eviscerated by wolf after wolf, b) look up a guide, read walkthroughs, etc, or c) loudly proclaim "fuck this" and uninstall.
I love Risen and all, but if I could go back and play it again for the first time I probably wouldn't.

It's not so bad really, you get used to it. I just wish I had a way to respond to reviews like this because I feel like it's usually better to educate. Even if that person doesn't get it or understand, it might prevent someone else in the future from making the same mistake.
But then again, I guess if they don't bother to read the description, they probably won't read other reviews either so... eh.
What sucks is that these 1 star reviews get averaged in. So if you haven't already left a review, I would implore you to do so to help offset this kind of stuff.
