i like the concept of being a villainous usa president, but i think i'd enjoy it a million times more as a game game with like real mechanics instead of whatever it is that telltale does

house of cards is so dumb i'd really enjoy it as like a sandbox thing of like try to pull off as much evil as you can before the people figure it out

like i get it tries to pretend it being all dark and serious but like you have like the vicepresident murdering people with his own hands it's hilarious

Is the intention still to submit the game to Greenlight once it's in a playable state? If so, you could use my Greenlight access for that rather than split the cost of paying the fee. It's not going to go to use otherwise.

There will probably be some changes that need to be made to character names (as I don't think having names like Bayonetta or MRORANGE are going to be okay, legally) after the initial release, before the eventual Steam version, but I was still planning on it since everyone here seemed to think it was appropriate to do so.

How does the Greenlight access work, exactly? Would I have to submit everything needed for the page to you? Or would you be able to add me so I could upload all pictures/text and the like? I think I've seen a few pages with multiple "submitter" spots but I wasn't sure how that all worked.

You'd have to provide me with screenshots and such as that's part of the initial submission form, but after the game has been submitted I could add you as a "contributor", which would allow you to "edit links, post announcements, and delete comments." It's possible that you'd also be able to edit the game info and Valve simply hasn't updated the FAQ... just as it hasn't updated the SSA to reflect the fact that accounts are now restricted rather than suspended when they run afoul of the SSA.

Even assuming contributors are a little limited in what they can do, should the game be greenlit I could add you as a dev and you'd be able to do everything -- edit the store page, publish patches, request keys, etc.

Cities: Skylines is awesome, my brother bought it (thank you based game sharing) and I've just played about an hour and half of it and am incredibly impressed. My city looks like hell but it's was a fun hell to build.

I guess I can just get some replacement names in place for screenshots for the greenlight page so we can get votes started the day the game goes up. I was planning on uploading the game to Itch.io or some other place for people to grab the original, pulpy "original" with the forum names intact at the very least. Will have to mark this down so I don't forget. There's still a lot of writing and asset work that needs doing though, so it won't be for a little while yet.

That's going to be a fantastic game to play through.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves, haha.

So this weekend I've been pretty busy gaming-wise. I finished Dreamfall Chapters Book 2 and played Cities Sylines a bit more.

Dreamfall Book 2 was interesting and overall I liked it more than Book 1. I can't wait for the next Books. Lots of questions left to answer.

And in Cities Skylines I started my third city, trying to get some achievements, while also advancing my city and making some money. Around 20k population now and I should expand my industry, but I wanted to try getting the Tough City achievement and/or 15% happiness before building another zone.
How do I increase crime even further? I got to 24% and I already disabled pretty much every service and park...

I was told by some russian steam friends that russian retail sites are only for russians, meaning you can't buy anything there if you don't have russian address and a card or bank account. I never tested it, but it probably is true, seeing as those never are listed anywhere ever as valid online stores, I mean.
