Seriously, I think Portal VR might be dangerous for the brain. I sometimes got confused in the game when playing with just a regular monitor.

I'm actually going to get a Raspberry Pi 2 model B. Seems like the specs of both devices are similar. I'm aiming for 1080/60 on high settings, I wonder if it can achieve that.

What, seriously? - Yes. I am writing out fanfiction for our community and making it a game thing.
What do I need to do? - Click on this link (submissions closed as of March 6th) to be taken to the form you'll need to fill out. Some of the questions are optional, so don't sweat it if you only want to put in the first two bits of info! Submissions are now closed due to overwhelming response! I already filled in my submission, but I wanted to add/change something! - PM me the change you want made so that I can make the edit myself, since the submission form doesn't seem to want to let me enable self-edits.

ADDENDUM:
There's been talk about submitting the game to Steam Greenlight even for the laughs of it. While I think this would be a hilarious meta-step for SteamGAF, I am a bit concerned about the legal ramifications of the sheer blatant copyright infringement I'd be committing by using everyone's avatars and background images stolen from Google Image Search. I don't know if I want to run the risk of getting my Steam account community banned for breaching any of the submission rules, which I suppose I could bypass entirely by making a new Steam account to submit the game with. Even though the game would be free to download via Steam, I'm sure that won't stop the copyright hounds from wanting to have a word with us about it.
So here's my thought on this: We could still do Greenlight, and a few have offered to cover parts of the $100 submission fee to see it done. In order for me to feel safe about going through with it, I would want to have our own art in place. Should any SteamGAFer wish to step up to the plate, we'd be looking at quite a lot of small character portraits at 100x120 and a bunch of backgrounds at 800x600. We could even have a collaborative effort between multiple artists to split the work up. You would all be credited as appropriate, and I think it would go a long way to making this game look and feel even better. Feel free to get in contact with me via PM if you're interested!
How about emulation? How's PS2 or the Wii?
I haven't tried watching porn yet. Not sure about 1080p and 4k. I don't have any videos that are that big since my TV screen is only measly HD-Ready crap.
While watching videos from my NAS I didn't encounter lagging, except for that Pipo seems to disconnects itself from the network for some reason. It's connected through ethernet cable, not wireless.
My son watched Youtube with it all day yesterday since he was sick. My wife told me that it at first always gets disconnected, but after restarting the machine the problem went away. I probably need to check the problem if the disconnecting still continues
I don't think emulation of more recent consoles is good. Since it got a weak GPU. But I can try later today

Try streaming some of that 1080p youtube content. Hope there's no lag.
I guess maybe the N64 is the cut off line for something like that. Hope you can report back.

Here is the funny part.
I tried first with Chrome, (yeah I am a Chrome user, deal with it). There is a noticeable lag when watching in Youtube videos, tested with 480, 720 and 1080p.
When watching with Internet Explorer I haven't seen any lag

Also, oh my god, some of these submissions. I might compile them and have a yearbook PDF or something in the game directory so everyone can see how great some of these are. I am looking at you SteveWinwood. But that's really just a thought, and I'd clarify with everyone if they were okay with their submission being public should I want to go through with it.

Source 2 announced, will be free BUT the game must be published on Steam.
HTC announced Valve as its VR Partner for Vive, Vive will have 1200x1080 resolution per eye, 90hz,
Steam Link announced, allows for low latency streaming 1080p 60hz from any PC or Steam Machine to any room in the house available this november for $49.99(USD)
