GAF, I need your opinion. Getting greenlit has given some of us some introspective. There has been talks of having our artist make painted backgrounds for every single background of Army of Tentacles, just to give it that extra jazz-shit.

Now, some background pictures were going to change no matter what. But others, I'm quite fond of. For instance, the backgrounds for Devil Reef and Innsmouth were actually taken in and around Lovecraft's stomping grounds and original inspiration for, well, Innsmouth and Devil Reef. Not to mention that changing the real photos as background would change a large part of the atmosphere.

Judging by the GL page, would you, as the player, want real photos or painted backgrounds?

The only time there will ever be a lull is when people are still learning Source 2.

I hope Valve didnt give up on the two-storefront system that was rumored to come. Since about one year so many "shitty" games get greenlit for whatever reason with no quality control whatsoever.
We have games that still use a mobile interface thanks to that.
Things like Slaughtering Grounds or other "My first Unity project" or "My first RPG Maker Project".

It's fine. It's definitely worth installing and trying to see if you're into it. It's a laid back puzzle game where the main character fights off hunger by eating paint.

According to the devs on twitter, Kickstarter reached out to them and said that the donation was fraudulent, which is probably why the site-feature of locking you into your pledge if removing it would un-fund the game didn't matter here.

I'd probably end up finally getting Guild Wars 2 if they put that up on Steam as well.

I don't think that's ever gonna be on Steam.

I'd probably double dip for the heck of it if it did though.
