Go to the community tab, or the store and click play. If you're already in a game it'll say resume game.

Do flash deals receive a greater discount in the final hour? I bought Papers, Please for -50% and now it's -70%. I've noticed the Morrors Edge discount is steeper now too.
That's just Steam having issues. They should have been the latter prices at first. First day always has these hiccups.
Yeah, sometimes... sometimes mistakes happen. Happened to a few people. Get a refund for the game then buy it again at the cheaper price. It'll still be available for another 12.5 hours, anyway.

That doesn't mean that it won't have a further deal. It just means that it's the regular summer sale discount for the duration of the sale. It will definitely be cheaper, believe me.

Yes! Long time lurker first time poster. I'm after a fps with a large multiplayer community. I'm leaning towards CSGO, but I'm new to steam and recently sticking my toe's back in the gaming pool in general.

That's an error.
Looks like my "wait for the dailies" post was correct.
It's not a daily, or a flash, but it may not go any lower. The discount will be there the entire sale, so no real harm in waiting. Maybe it'll drop, but considering the history with cheaters in the game there's potential it may not be. Waiting never hurt nobody.

Using a VPN to buy games is such an at your own risk deal to start. Also, Malaysia is part of the restricted South-east Asia region.
