Also having the same issue apparently you can connect to the game through a friend but they have to be within 10 levels of you. Unfortunately my friends are all way above level 10.

Its better to start a new game after a while...if you can. It's like clicker heroes in a lame way, you get some strong one time buffs when you start over. Make sure you do a fresh game though don't join a friend.

This minigame is so busted. Why am I on some kind of team that has raced way ahead, making my contributions useless? Since I haven't been actively playing until today, I missed the early game where your clicks actually matter (I presume you could kill enemies with like 3 clicks on level 1 like in any other clicker game) and now enemies have billions of HP and my clicks do 900 damage and playing it feels utterly pointless since I'm behind the curve in every aspect due to not maximizing my gold in the early game. Why is it team-based?! Maybe Valve shouldn't make games anymore.

You can't get GTA V for any lower. They are bundling shark cards/max payne/gta games in with it to make up the price.

Idle. You don't need to click. invest only in passive skills. check sometimes and use abilities.

The rules also say that when the day ends, everything resets - including your stats. You start with buffs, if I understand correctly, based on the level you finished at last as well as your Summer card ranking - or was it your overall Steam level?

If so, perhaps resetting is not a wise move to be better prepared for the next day's game?

My friend's games are all level 60-75 and it won't let you join 10+ levels above you <.<

I expect that's part of why the game's screwing up for everyone, it assumes that everyone starts and moves together. I'd expect better design from Valve.

I'm in the same boat with Deadly Premonition (90% of @ £1.99) and Earth Defense Force (66% off @ £3.05). I can't believe I'm quibbling over further savings on two games for a fiver. Deadly Premonition can't get any cheaper without them paying me to take it.

97 now and takes like 20mins to beat a round, its just a slow grind and luck of other people using items
