Nope, pretty sure it stayed ~15% the whole day. In the community hub people are noticing the same thing, asking for refunds. It's still a flash deal for 3 more hours. You probably looked at the discount when they weren't updated yet.

I'm level 96 and I only got errors when I tried to join...
Should I keep trying to get into the Monster Summer Game or play one of my multitude of games in my backlog that I actually need to play? I actually got in and was level 10 but then all my progress disappeared.
I didn't realize that would happen. It resets when new daily sales show up?I was also lvl 50something and same. But does that really matter, since the levels are reset soon and all start over again?
Should we also tell you what color underwear to wear today?
EU here. What's with the GTA V deal? I wanted to buy vanilla, no additional cards etc. But vanilla costs 59,99... or deal with the shark card for 56,23. And somebody mentioned that it is ~30$.
Can't get into this monster game. Keep getting an error. I've crafted my summer sale badge. Why would I want to increase it's level? Seriously because this is my first summer sale so not sure what it means.
Actually, do publisher bundles go in daily or flash sales in general? New to steam so this would be good to know.

why would anyone play that monster game? it's fucking dreadful.
Increasing the badge's level gives you more emoji and wallpapers as well as more EXP for your Steam level. There is a max level to the badge.
Also, how did you craft it? Did you trade or buy the cards? I really hope they fix the problems with this game soon. It seems sort of fun.

At 9am Pacific time each day, all game sessions in the Monster Summer Game will end. All players can then join a new game, beginning with attacking the level 1 enemies again.
When you start a new game, you will start with special badge points that you can spend on abilities. The amount of badge points you get is based on the maximum boss level youve completed in the game on any previous day, plus the level of your Steam Summer Sale badge.

How does San Andreas play on PC? I like to replay this game every couple of years or so but my PS2 is about to go tits up :/
If something is 85% off is it pretty much guaranteed that it isn't going to be part of a daily/flash sale? That's basically as cheap as it's gonna get, right?

Grand Theft Auto V is simply not included as a daily like the rest of the series. The 'deal' that comes with the card lasts until the end of the summer sale (June 22nd).
Worth buying Costume Quest ($3.39) and Costume Quest 2 ($5.09) at 66% off?
Part of me thinks they can go lower.

That's such an unfun idea. If the goal of the game is to grind out money and keep improving your DPS, having it reset to 0 and killing your sense of progression every day is like the worst possible idea. What a clusterfuck of a minigame...Yeah it's on the FAQ:
KOF triple pack is 10$
No excuses, you wimps.
Batman will get a daily franchise deal. Origins will be nice and cheap. Add it to your wishlist and Steam will send you an email with a notification.
The Batman games will almost certainly get a daily deal with a lower price then 50% off.
I can't play that Monster Game, for whatever reason - I keep getting the message that there was a problem trying to join a game.
Not anymore. It use to be great but then a few months ago they released a new version and broke a bunch of stuff. Now it's missing textures, has animation issues, certain resolutions are no longer possible. They added gamepad support which is good but they broke mouse control at the game time. They also took out 18 or so songs and blocked all mod support.
That said, its fairly cheap and it is playable at higher resolution that the ps2 version.
What a disaster.
It was great on PS3, can't imagine it being worse in pc. I'd say go for it, it's a steal at that price.Consensus on Valkyria Chronicles?

There aren't max levels for sale badges.
did steam sales use to be better? i've only followed them couple years now, but while there are some good deals they don't seem to come even close to living up to the hype.

The discount percentages have generally gotten lower in recent years. As I had quipped before, 33% is the new 50% and 60% is the new 75%.
I think the other issue is that a lot of people have hit a point where they have purchased just about every game they are interested in, so the sales seem underwhelming for that reason.
