Is anyone else not having the store load at all within a browser or the steam client? Not my screenshot but it's what my community page looks like right now

It's been like this since last night and it sucks, I have to use the mobile storefront to look at any deals.

Have you tried with another browser? Does the problem stays the same?

5 got F3 GOTY and 10 for FNV UE is about as cheap as you can ask for. Should be auto buys for anyone who wanted to get them. I can only see them cheaper in the years to come but for now, all that content makes it hard to complain about the price.

Which are the deals for today?

Just used my Super Secret Hidden Technique "Google-Fu"

Todays Indie Bundle V will be Audio Surf, Gemini Rue, Greed Corp, Tiny Bang Story, Ys: The Oath in Felghana

But that's all I can tell you. Secret techniques may only be used once.

Yeah. Mine isn't working at all. It seems fine on my iPhone, though.

However, you should give New Vegas another shot, especially if you like Skyrim. Sometimes you have to be in the right mindset to start a game.

Will do.

I'm crap at RPGs, hopelessly so. It's something I'll need to keep plugging away at. This is probably heresy but I wish you could play it more like Borderlands, with the shooting manual instead of using V.A.T.S. Thanks for the responses.

New Vegas is cheaper (or is it the same price?) and newer?

Or did you mean the ultimate version? If so, it'll be a while before it goes cheaper.

I was talking about FO3: GOTY and F:NV - UE. FO3: GOTY is 5 bucks, NV UE is 10 bucks. Vanilla NV is the same price as FO3: GOTY.

I really dislike that they nerfed the Wizard in Trine 2.

I don't want to play this game co-op. And I'm not going to. Just like I didn't play Trine 1 in co-op. So the fact I keep coming to switches (that close 2 seconds after you release them) annoys me. With Trine 1 I could have easily solved these puzzles anyway I wanted. Even if they'd allowed switches to stay activated if only played with 1 player would have been okay. But it just feels like it wants you to play 2 players and if you don't, you're going to have to stare at the screen until you finally spot the thing I'm overlooking. Disappointed in this. It's no longer a physics heavy game because the Wizard allowed you to constantly create solutions of your own making.

Yes and no. Some things are clever and you have to be fast at them. Co op is a blast though. Combine the amazing visuals at perfect IQ with 3 player online and that 3.74 price, greatness.

Dunno, works fine here. Win 7 x64

The usual amount of crashes etc that comes with using lots of mods until you work out which mod is breaking stuff.

Windows 7 x64 too here. Hope everithing goes well. Anyways, I still need to finish FO2 so It will still take some time before I actually play it

Damage so far:

Wrath of the Lamb (Binding of Isaac DLC)
Fallout 3 GOTY

Pretty good so far

To those not having the store load there's a thread on the steam forum about it http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2810653 where others are reporting the same issues as well. Someone else also confirmed that the mobile storefront continues to function while everything else is dead.

Have you tried with another browser? Does the problem stays the same?

It's like this on any browser and it's literally only steampowered.com that does this lulz. I can still access the mobile store and the forums but no images load tho.

I didn't like what I played of New Vegas, is there any chance in hell I'll inexplicably love Fallout 3?

Fallout 3 is among the best games ever created. My first time playing it it took me maybe 4 hours before everything clicked, I then fell in love and put 90 solid hours into it. Fallout 3 has more "wow" moments than New Vegas. Some of the stuff you see and do in FO3 is just amazing. NV is good too.

F3 GOTY for $5 is a steal. I haven't bought any games yet, but I might get New Vegas UE for that price.

Still haven't finished The Witcher, so I'm not sure if it's the best decision.

So Cities XL 2012. Worth it?

It depends. Cities XL 2012 is a decent, but flawed city builder. It's a bit too easy, there are technical issues that make it run badly on most machines and it isn't as robust as I'd like it to be. Still, if you just want to sit there and build some cities without much regard to management it's just fine.

If you already have 2011 though, I wouldn't bother. It's basically 2011 with a couple of new environments.

I've noticed there are some nice "hidden" deals, for instance PixelJunk Eden 80 % off.

Are there any more of that kind of deals that I should know about?

Serious Sam is a wicked gahbidge series for chowdaheads.
Will do.

A few small tips for New Vegas:

1) When building a character, don't try to max out all your attributes (because you can't). Pick a few attributes/perks that will best fit the kind of play style.

2) A simple guide to what you should pick up when looting: everything that does not carry weight, especially ammo. This can all be sold to traders for modest amounts of money.

I've never had the completion attitude. Especially with free roam games. I buy games and play them until I'm bored. Then I play something else and re visit games when I feel like it. I don't buy much and I feel I get my money's worth.

I foolishly bought New Vegas without the DLC, I am looking to pick up maybe one of them. Do you guys think any of the DLC's are must-haves?

I enjoyed Fallout 3 thoroughly, but The Pitt, Operation Anchorage and Mothership Zeta were huge wastes of money in my opinion. I did not enjoy the story in any of them (never bought Point Lookout or Broken Steel, which I believe was a mistake considering the latter increased level caps).

NV Ultimate Edition

Fantastical

Death Prophet
Wait, Fallout 3 GOTY hit $5 and I missed it? I've been asleep for the last 8 hours...

EDIT: Nevermind, I was looking at the wrong price. Woot!

World of Goo: http://store.steampowered.com/app/22000/
Kohan - Warchest: http://store.steampowered.com/sub/11141/
Eschalon Books I + II : http://store.steampowered.com/search/?snr=1_6_4__12&term=Eschalon

I think World of Goo is going to be in an upcoming Indie Bundle on Day 11 Hydrophobia, Orion: Dino Beatdown, Star Ruler, Waveform, World of Goo

Haven't played them yet myself but to me it sounds like Old World Blues is worth getting for the writing and Lonesome Road is worth getting for the plot significance, at least according to a friend of mine.

Ohhh thanks, I didn't even know Shatter was on PC!

I just rebought Fallout 3 to play again. No more shitty Windows Live version for me!

Also bought Lonesome Road, Courier's Stash, Gun Runner Arsenal, Old World Blues and Honest Hearts fort New Vegas.

New Vegas DLC looks shitty though. It's not part of the game world and you can't revisit it? What's the point? Oh well, 8 bucks for all that.

I need help quickly:
Which of the Fallout NV DLCs are necessary, which ones are not so good? I'd like to only buy 2 of the 4 to save some money if possible..

I HIGHLY recommend Red Faction Guerilla, it is my game of the generation. Just make sure to play it on EASY because the game is frustration at all other difficulty levels. Also, the last level is amazing! But the game becomes super fun once you get the jetpack
