No campaign or storyline though. The completion of achievement itself is the end game.

You must've missed all the hubbub around the game back during the winter sale. SteamGAF was going nuts about it. It was great.
Another +1 from me. Game looks amazing, plays really well. Loved the driving and the combat. One of the best open world games I've played.
Watch the trailer, should give you an idea why this game is so interesting.
Did you try disabling uPlays overlay? Probably they are interfering. Apart from that make sure to launch the game through Steam and that it launches automatically without any uPlay extra stuff like updating etc
