I would get Banished, but I've got a backlog a mile long and I just discovered that I like Civ V, so that will scratch that itch for a little while. Banished will probably be $5 come Christmas.

Banished was a daily two days ago, not yesterday, and was in the Yesterday's Deals section yesterday. Today for some reason it's still there, back at regular sale price.

I think you're right. I'd had heard that effort on the Genesis port was happening. It definitely was not as far along at the time I'd heard as the port of the SNES one.

I almost had a heart attack during a Rush Hour of Cook, Serve, Delicious!, LOL. This is exactly the thrill I used to love with those Dinner Dash games years ago.
Fantastic game. Totally worth the wait.
Rush hour when you have an intricate menu gets pretty damn nuts. It does a really good job of conveying the stress of it actually happening.

Normally the daily deal runs for 48 hours, so probably a mistake it's on the front page again.

Yup. Have five numbers rolling it. No one else in the house wants to go through the effort of combining $6 cards into usable amounts, and they don't mind lending me their phones for 2> minutes every day.

Double Dragon is good, but I think Ikaruga is the superior game. Double Dragon Neon is a bit of a weird remaster too

Ikaruga because it's a really well-designed shooter that's not based on another property.
I think gaming experiences need to be unique as well as enjoyable, and Ikaruga is both.
