I didn't buy Aliens vs Predator :( and now I kinda regret it a bit. I was always interested in this game but the terrible 360 demo turned me off. I wonder if the PC version is up to snuff??? (fully patched?)

It doesn't start out that way, but yes it ends up that way. It's just an abilities bar, and it feeds you to them slowly, so you will have plenty of time to get a feel for each one. You can customise the ability bar too, so you can group like abilties together and such. Also it's pause and play, so you don't have to worry about remembering abilties in the heat of battle. If you ever needed to figure something out, just pause. It's a fairly simple game.

Ok thanks. I don't think I'll be getting it now. I'm not used to RPGs nor PC games so I doubt this will go well.

Well, I'd stay away from Two Worlds 2 if you have issues with DRM. Come to find out it has a 3 activation limit, and just changing your video card will use one up. Not revokable. This is mentioned no where on the store page. Of course stupidly, I didn't check http://steamdrm.flibitijibibo.com/hardware-based/ again before buying a game. That's twice during the sale now, DRM wasn't listed on the store. There is no fucking excuse for Valve not to get their shit together and make sure it's listed.

Let's see if they give me a refund after putting in a support ticket. I'm probably stuck with this seventeen dollars mistake because I stupidly entered the cd key.

Most definitely, I am also getting the same thing. My download of Assassin's Creed has been going on and off.

I have ACii on the PS3 (borrowed from a friend)

Is it worth it to buy the pack? (It's a very good price)
Is Brotherhood interesting enough after ACii, and do any of the games have the silly Ubi DRM?

Looks like steam is down, however my Bioshock download seems to be kicking along.

Edit: I'm getting a "NO CONNECTION" message at the bottom of steam as well.

It's up.

Every so often you'll get the Guru Meditation though.

And it's slower than normal.

The stats page graph shows a tiny dive (150K users or so) so there might be some servers down or getting hammered.

No, and I see no ticket for Spiral Knights either.

Although July 2nd only has six activities unlike the other three days.

Christ, I really need to buy a second hard drive or something. Just over the last couple of days I think I've expanded my games collection by 50GB or so.

Darksiders and Transformers alone is like 20GB or so.

There was a bug with that activity so they took it down. I read somewhere that was actually a mistake, and more likely to be the activity for the 4th of July.

Just completed the Men at War barbeque achievement and then found out that the Steam client has been down. I hope this doesn't mess up the ticket. This is the first day that I completed all of the events.

I had no connection to steam and then when it reconnected it logged me out of the store in the client... trying to log back in gives me an error message telling me to "Please verify your humanity by re-entering the characters below." Re-entering it does nothing :(

Yeah, they took it down (probably because it's bugged and they couldn't be arsed to fix it.)
I wasted 3K in that game for the useless bomb when I should be saving for Seraphic Helm recipe.

Anyone knows if it is possible to install games from steam in another folder? The HD where steam is located in my PC is almost full, but I've another one almost empty. I do not wish to move my entire steam folder, only some games.

If you like DA:O there are some good dlc adventures in it yes. Also there's the awakening. Better to buy ultimate than dlc/awakening separately.

Not possible... (you can move all of them yes, but not some)
One of the big problems with Steam IMHO.

(unless they fixed that recently?)

I'm having problems login into steam. I keep getting the "Please verify your humanity by re-entering the characters below." message, but the captcha part of the form doesn't appear (the image, the button and the textfield). Somebody knows what can I do?
