To put it concisely, are there any major technical problems with Assassin's Creed 1, not related to gameplay?
Not that I know of. Played through the game without issue.Artofwar420 said:To put it concisely, are there any major technical problems with Assassin's Creed 1, not related to gameplay?
Where are you from? I don't think you can just buy from the US store if you're from Europe for example.Sarquiss_ said:Anyone having issues with Steam declining the transactions? I tried purchasing from the US and AU store via my credit card but each time the transaction is declined.
I even tried paypal but each time I finalize the paypal transaction and get sent back to the steam store page it asks me to launch paypal again????

I had this happen with Test Drive Unlimited 2. Steam got it fixed for me and many others in about a day.Amneisac said:UGH! I bought Transformers and gifted to a friend for the sole purpose of playing today co-op while we were both off and they run out of keys. That sucks.
It says controller enabled on its store page.ChocolatePuddin said:Random question, do you guys know if sniper:ghost warrior has controler support?

Mainly wanted Transformers and Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition

I just got my card (and it's on a family account so it might not have been me), but the only thing I've used it on so far is the Steam sale, I got Darksiders and Super Meat Boy. They are in my library and everything so I don't think there is anyway that it was a phishing website or anything. Has anyone else had problems with this on Steam, because my dad was immediately wary of it when he saw I made purchases on it.
I've never had such problems.thestopsign said:So I just got a call from my credit card company saying that there have been purchases on my account that I haven't done. :lolmicster said:Depends. Do you play TF2 or own Battlefield BC2? If the answer is yes then hell no. If the answer is no then use your hard drive space on installing TF2 instead. Will just make it easier on you playing MoH MP for 20 minutes and then deleting it never to be seen again.

Why don't you just do gifting?

Don't do it, bro.Infinity said:So they patched out the awful DRM on AC2. Tempting to get the PC versions of all 3 from Steam and sell my PS3 copies.
Talk me out of it Gaf!

adg1034 said:So, I already own vanilla DA:O, but I've barely played it. Do I shell out for Ultimate? I'm agonizing over $10, here. Aargh.
Yeah it's fantastic. They added a bunch of new mission types, it runs well on modern hardware, it looks stunning, it can be played with pad or MKB, and you actually have a decent number of options to tweak.Artofwar420 said:I really want Assassin's Creed 1, only to see the difference between the PS3 version that I have. Also, I didn't finish it and would like to play a better version.
Question is, is it a good port?
Derrick01 said:I hope you're ready for a couple awful games. My friend gave 2 to me when it was $5 so we could play and after clearing the first 2 stages I can't get him to finish it with me for the achievements because of how bad it was.
Then again I don't really want to finish it either...
toasty_T said:Do it. You can buy all 3 games for the price that AC:B goes for those days on consoles.
Yes, if they catch you circumventing that way, you'll get banned.1-D_FTW said:Can't you get account bans for using VPN to bypass pricing?

Curse you, computer gaming deities.
botlite said:I'm considering buying Defense Grid but I already have Revenge of the Titans from the Humble Indie Bundle which I have never even played. I guess the smart option is to not purchase.
HBroward said:You really should get it if you have any love for the genre at all. It is hands down the most polished tower defense game available. It even has a level they added in the Potato ARG with GlaDos from Portal berating your tower building prowess(which isn't in the 360 version). It's worth the $2.50 for that level alone.
