As mentioned above, the general consensus is that X3: Terran Conflict is the only one you really need to get. Of course, the X series did have a daily deal during the winter sale, so there's a possibility that they may have another one during this sale.teiresias said:Trine and Bully for me today.
If I want to pick up one of the X games (X2, X3) which would people recommend, the X2/X3 pack is like $5, but not sure if that's the best X3 to try, and if X2 is worth it. Any recommendations?

During a quest line that initially seemed innocuous or too much to bother with but ultimately directs you towards an npc with a treasure trove of information on the massive world that you participate and you speak to and listen captively to this npc for what seems an eternity you realize what a tremendous achievement Fallout New Vegas is. Brilliant in it's construction and writing. Grand in it's scope. Rich in exploration. So big that 50 hours of playing time and your chosen build might not even yield the true game play or dialog gems of what has to be considered one of the best rpgs ever crafted. Yes it's just a desert for the most part but this desert has the richest of gaming gold waiting to be mined.
Very good, you should have no major problems with that.Datwheezy said:Anyone who picked it up during this sale or prior, how well does Darksiders play with a mouse and keyboard?

Finally, and this appears to be equally important, CAMP or WAIT in the city you found it (as soon as you purchase the sword and equip it, don't leave) for a few days and the ticket/achievement should unlock.1. Make a female character.
2. Once you're in Calradia, the land you're playing in, try and navigate to closest city (they are bigger settlements than castles and villages).
3. Click on the city, enter the Tavern. Locate a man that isn't called Book Merchant, Wandering poet, Ransom Broker or something with Mercenaries. In other words - someone with a real name. This person is a companion. Talk to him and hire him (this will cost you 200-300 denars*).
4. Press Tab to enter the City menu and enter the Marketplace->Weapon market. look for the cheapest sword that is in the 'great sword' category (two-handed). It will cost up to some hundreds denars*
5. Leave the city and enter the party menu, lower right corner. Talk to your Male character -> take a look at his gear/equipment -> put the great sword in one of his weapon slot.
*if you lack in money you will have to raid some looters before getting the companion or the sword, do so by riding around until you find a grey unit running around, good luck!
Also, if there is no companion or great sword in the town you choose, you will simply have to ride to another town.

First, you must make sure that 'ENABLE CHEATS' is disabled/unchecked in the configure menu.
Next, follow these steps - I did the same things myself with this new save file (taken from a Steam Forum User's post):

Or you could get a save file and import it, dunno if it would be considered legitimate though.Someone HAS uploaded a savefile on the steam forums and all you need to do is place it in the right directory and camp for a few days in-game

Got it, thanks.Conceptor said:go to/view your Party --> Scroll down your party/troop list on the right until you find whom you are looking for --> TALK --> "Let me take a look at your equipment" --> Equip items --> Tada!

LocoMrPollock said:Well whatever, I think of it as an RTS game with tower defense elements and the way it plays out is quite a bit different than AOE or other RTS games since the main objective is defense and surviving increasing difficult waves of enemies, not unlike TD games.

Yeah, hopefully they'll be in the holiday sale, but I was mainly just wishing more DLC was already out now for NV. I remember FO3 has like 4 DLC's already out at this point.
