AFAIK, they've never discounted it in a sale. Xmas sale they had Chernobyl and Pripyat in a $5 bundle and Clear Sky was $10 the whole time. I think I'm gonna have to bite.

Now all that's left is Morrowind for ~75% off and this sale will have been a success :D

It's a fun mixture of BioShock and Half-Life with quite a few creative weapons. It's on the short side(8-9 hours), but I'd say it's worth it for that price.

Pripyat has been discounted since the beginning of the sale and has been lower in the past, so I think it's safe to wait for a daily deal (HOWEVER if it's not a daily deal you absolutely must get it because it's a phenomenal FPS). Clear Sky on the other hand basically never gets discounted so I'm not so sure. Part of me really feels like a cheap ass for not pulling the trigger at $5 since I love the series so much. I wonder if it was just an error or something that Clear Sky wasn't discounted at the beginning of the sale.

I'm not too concerned with length because of the price and because of the ridiculous backlog I already have piling up.

But that sounds promising...

Just fired up my transformers which couldnt connect to the key thing earlier and its working now so they must have got some new keys :) Gives me something to do until alpha protocol is downloaded.

Really struggling to budget myself in this sale, relatively new to pc gaming so i never had much in my steam folder before now. Gone over budget twice already and i just keep increasing it :p

In the supermarket today i picked up some chicken and thought to myself this chicken is quite expensive, if i just eat noodles for dinner instead i can use this extra money to buy anther game i wont even play :p

I put $80 in my steam wallet on Thursday thinking it would last. I think I'm going to just put off getting the doom pack again and just get either Warblade or Singularity, since I don't have that much time to play through that many games.

And then you can buy Call of Pripyat with the loyalty promo for 7.5$ (i think, not in US) wich is a great game... or just wait for the eventual daily deal of corse.

Went to the Steam Forums and they said the achievement is a little buggy, and multiple people only got it after spending 2-3 nights in a row on a camp.

I did it and tada, achievement unlocked.

Good thing the game is quite entertaining (I already knew about it, but never really played the Single Player campaign for reals). I don't want to stop playing... :D

Since it wasn't in the OP I guess it got lost in the wayward. Still the advice given there has one issue; the Oasis level is a few levels in (guess just steamroll it in tourist difficulty). There is water in the first level but as much as I tried I could not find a way to lure any enemies to the room it was in.

If you put the game in "Serious" difficulty you won't have to lure any enemy to that room =p

I think I died more than 300 times between two teleporters. The slippery landing is completely inappropriate with conveyor belts. My hands feel leprous now. And I've seen the horror that is Veni, Vidi, Vici. FUCK. THAT. SHIT.

Goddamn, don't remind me. I loved the game but I was defeated by Veni Vidi Vici. I'm just not good enough of a gamer. :(

If Stubbs worked I'd say get it but if you are running vista and Windows 7 it's 99.9 percent likely not to work. Don't believe me just check the steam forums for the game.

Yes it is. I can never recommend it more then I do. It's just an amazingly fun game. I really hope the Sequel is done a bit better on the PC. They really neglected the PC version on DLC and controls. Hopefully for the sequel they'll really do it right.

Mount and Blade Warband is amazing, I regret not buying and playing this earlier. A little worried about the other expansion but it was super cheap.
