Dear Divius, since you had the balls to ask I shall grant you your request. Give me your steamid.
You, sir, are a gentleman and an awesomeness-person. I'll post the pics of bleeding fingers later.

Anybody who plays Saints Row 2 needs to look into Gentleman of the row mod, it fixes and adds so much to this game its fantastic.
Thanks.

I'll be sure to get it if I pick it up.

I've noticed that some people who have redeemed for prizes have the item showing in their profile, but for some reason when I look at my profile all my boxes say "Not Yet Claimed". On the summer camp page it shows that I have redeemed for 2 items, but it's not showing in my profile page. Anyone know why?

I know the SR2 port is notorious for being terrible, but how will it run on a 2500k/460? I bought it on release on the ps3 and played it through 3 times, and would love to play with a 360 controller on computer again.

So I bought Eschalon: Book I over the weekend.
http://store.steampowered.com/app/25600/

Suddenly I didn't want to play any of my other steam sale games, including Transformers which I had been waiting to get forever.

If you like the mid to late Ultimas, you would be well served giving this a shot. It is only $3.74 for the first one and there is a free demo. Seriously made my inner old skool rpg nerd happy and I really hope the dev makes more of these.

I'm undecided...
I really only have interest in King's Bounty: Armored Princess, but since that is a sequel, should one play The Legend fist?

I played Armored Princess without playing The Legend, and I had no problem following the story (which itself is pretty thin but not that bad.) There are only a few allusions to the first game - it's not like there are major spoilers. I'd recommend it and don't think you'll have any problem if you don't play the Legend first.

I can't believe I bought Far Cry 2 over Jamestown. I only knew Jamestown was a shmup after reading a review. I wish it had online co-op so I still have to pass. Still, it must have more value than FC2. Even when they total less than $8, I have buyer's remorse for both games. I must be crazy if I bought them either for a collector's purpose or I hope they have good elements in them. Today was lame.

I heard a rumor that people were gifting Jamestown to Weenerz, was that a true rumor or just something I made up?
It was discovered that the source of that rumor only started it to get publicity. It was a complete fabrication.

Jamestown is... strangely well presented. The way the beginning of level title cards show up, and the prompts, and the story scenes. Just really impressive. I'm not much for shmups and realistically I'm never going to beat the game on Legendary and I'll probably only end up playing 3-5 hours or so, but it's just really well made. Very cool.

It's on my wishlist. I'll probably pick it up on the last day. Been wanting to check it out for a while.

Always good to hear positive recommendations for it.

People should buy Jamestown. It is absurd and absurdly well done for what it is. There is a giant bomb quicklook if you are still on the fence.

Early levels are hard as nails but that is the way I like these things.

You should check out Avadon. 10 times better.

Are there any opinons on Guardians of Graxia? Is it anything like Culdcept or more of a Magic type card game?

Is there a point to getting the Killing Floor bundle? It just looks like it gives you more characters.

The dlc is really just a way to kick them some extra money if you want to. There have been a bunch of free content updates and all of the paid dlc is cosmetic.

Yea, I'm not even big on the old school rpgs, but the demo has me seriously intrigued. I know I'll definitely be buying it before the sale is over.

I like what I've seen of all of Spiderweb's games but the asking price are so steep. I did bite on Geneforge and loved it.

The music is surprisingly awesome as well. Great game.

Yeah, not sure why they're not on Steam. Great games.

Keep an eye out on D2D or GG, Avadon was $5 a couple weeks ago.

Would King's Bounty come recommended from most of the GAF? I've been considering picking this up along with Jamestown, but I'm somewhat hesitant.

oh man, it literally pains me that I missed that. :(

Question about the Spiral Knights ticket. I had Spiral Knights before it was on Steam. How do I link it to Steam without adding a non-steam game? That is, how do I work is so I can complete the objective and have Steam award me the ticket?

I've put a couple of hours into The Legend tonight and I'm enjoying it. There's a lot of text to read (seriously loads) but the gameplay is simple and fun but I can see there being more depth in it as I level up.

Did anyone pick up the epic games pack with all the unreal tournament games in them? I was thinking of picking it up but just wondered if the communities were still fairly active.

So I'm interested in giving Gothic 3 a shot. Should I buy both Gothic 3 and the Forsaken Gods Edition or just one of them.

Forsaken Gods wasn't made by Piranha Bytes and was even more broken than Gothic 3 on release. Even with the Community Patch it still might not be that good Gothic 3 with the Community Patch. Gothic 3 patched up as good or better than Risen.

I've got a firecracker bomb in Spiral Knights, 1st person to explain how to gift it to a friend gets it.

You go to the same server (click the name on top of the minimap), and then trade. I already have the achievement though (and gave my bomb away), so I'll pass :)

Man, really wish I got a Gift copy of KB: The Legend when I bought the complete pack.

Was all excited to give it away. *frownyface*

Either way, broke the Summer Sale seal. Now I'll be buying games every 15 minutes.

I just installed the game through Steam, then launched it and logged into my account. It'll ask you if you want to merge the game with your Steam account, choose yes, and you won't have to login anymore (it'll login via your Steam account after you launch) and all the cheevos and stuff will work.

Oho. Much obliged.

Does anyone want to go do today's L4D2 ticket achievement with me? I haven't played L4D is quite some time and was never great, so I'm hoping to play on an easier difficulty with people who won't get annoyed by my noobness...
