Good job not waiting till the end of the sale, why deny yourself the best CRPG released since Planescape just on the off chance that you might save 3-7 dollars.

I agree with this. At least wait until the Steam sale is completely over, or get it over and done with by simply bowing down to EviLore's game list.

Because it's 3-7 dollars and the majority here have been waiting 2 or 3 years for it to go sale. A couple more days isn't going to kill anybody.

Can't help but shake my head in disbelief at most of you not having any mods in your steamlist.

You collect games like a squirrel collects nuts and ignore some of the best things on pc.

You can just remove it immediately afterwards. Also, it's a friday on a work week. Also, it's the friday before 4th of july vacation. I doubt many people would see you link it and remove it.

Because of the non-existent way they handle the drawing, I'm not going through any hurdles. Like the TF2 one, fuck it. I did that a hundred times. I'm not logging in and trying to do it again because they've added another achievement and tied it to a ticket.

I still don't know why Valve doesn't give you virtual tickets and hold a lottery style drawing where you could watch it live. This whole business of doing it in secret and only notifying winners, supposedly, via e-mail has me burned out.

I figured 15 tickets will be enough to get me 5 items and that's about all I'm interested in. That's 1.5 tickets a day. Should be very easy without doing shit I don't want to do.

Some games may not be classified right (you can't really beat TF2). And I should be done with buying older PC games by now. I've accepted that I will probably never beat a lot of these, but I should make some effort so I won't have wasted a shit ton of money.

Do what Interfectum says. Also keep in mind that if you are in the US, you can still purchase from the UK site. Its $5US cheaper that way versus buying from the US gamersgate website. I just did all this, it works.

Are you talking about the DLC? I was talking about the main game, in which I also snapped the screenshot, there are tons of different jets in the vanilla game, so you don't really need the DLC.

I must do better.
So far I’ve only picked up the Heroes V pack, but I’m trying to stay within a self-imposed $30 limit.

Still hoping for a Vampire: the Masquerade, Alpha Protocol, or New Vages DLC daily deal.

Just so people know, the only functions that Steam has when your profile is linked to Facebook are locating your other friends that have Steam accounts and you are able to push your Steam screenshots to your Facebook wall.. none of your friends and family are going to be notified of the time you've been playing Team Fortress or the number of games you've bought during the Summer Sale. There's no need to unlink it.

I might get Heroes 5 even though it's not the best version, heroes 4 or 3. Also Tribes of the East is the better Heroes 5 and it's stand alone. Buy that instead.

Ah sorry, wasn't clear. There is a topic in the main forum specifically telling everyone to buy Vampire now that it is on sale, instead of waiting to see if it is a daily sale. I don't get it.

I just linked my girlfriends. If you have someone with an account that will let you have the password, you don't even need to make one.

Anybody know if the difference between the two Drakensang games make it to where it is worth dropping the extra few dollars on RoT, or would it be fine to just stick with the first game.

Yeah, it's fun when I can do it well, but I'm too much of a perfectionist for that kind of game. Everything has to go excellently, or I panic and get murdered anyway. :/
