Yes, even with it's single missing track, it's easily the definitive version of the game. Plays like a dream with a 360 controller!
I will purchase this game. Thanks!

Btw, thread should be called "Steam Winter Sales 2012 | Bad Rats are coming

Well, it's not like I was scamming huge amounts of money out of the system.

I think aside from Dota 2 (which I redeemed and never played because cmon), the only other game I got was ArcaniA, which is still sitting in my inventory.

Everything else was shitty discount coupons. Also, each account only managed to get like 9 coals (enough for one crafting), since there were no games on the account for achievements to be made. All the real games I got (which, if I remember right, were Golden Axe, Pat & Mat and maybe a copy of The Ship?) I got on my main account. And they weren't that good either.

Those accounts were made for farming TF2 items, months before the winter sale and I never used them for that either.

You arent making me feel any better about you bro.

I need XCOM, Dead Island, Chivalry and Fallen Enchantress to all hit 50% off or better.

Gabe trolling me by not including any of them in the first day.

If you look back at the last page some guy has Dead Island for trade. Not sure how much he wants for it or if there is any DLC tfor the game that might make you wan to buy it from the store your self though.

Would you feel better if I did like everybody else and sold the goddamn thing for like 50 bucks? I though THAT was a scumbag move.

And it was done freely on GAF.

It just sounded like you were saying Dota 2 is a bad game. I'm very very picky about which multiplayer games I play and for me Dota 2 is the best multiplayer game I've ever played.

A bit off-topic, but since people have been mentioning amazon, I decided to take a look at what they have and found this. Found amazon to have much a much better sale for me at the moment.

Also, should I be waiting for a daily/flash deal for The Witcher 2? Or is it unlikely to happen?
You should, yes. I got both Witcher games for $10 on the Autumn Sale, I expect the same on this one.

Hidden Gems are here.

The holiday sale came, unfortunately there are no achievements, but there are always hidden gems to be surprised at!

Any of these games might get a steeper discount, so specially for the least discounted games, waiting till the last day of the sale is advised. Prices are shown in USD.

ack, can't believe they took guerilla down. i know it's been on sale many times before but one of the loose ends I would have liked to have wrap up in this steam sale.

Whoa, wait, what? I was looking at the page for it and thinking it was just a bug or something due to the load. Why would they take down Guerilla but not any of the others?

So me and Wario are having a conversation on Steam about Bad Rats and how amazingly AWESOME this game is.

Hidden Gems are here.
I can narrow that down.

Toki Tori ($0.49)
Ghost Master ($0.74)
Broken Sword Trilogy ($1.99, separate games also 80% off)
AaaaaAAaaaAAAaaAAAAaAAAAA!!! for the Awesome ($2.49)
Bang Bang Racing ($2.49)
Blocks That Matter ($1.24)
Critter Crunch ($1.74)
Hard Reset: Extended Edition ($3.74)
Magnetis ($0.49)
Sequence ($1.24)
Sideway New York ($2.49)
SkyDrift ($2.49, includes DLC)
Wizorb ($1.01)

Those are worth checking out, y'all, especially Critter Crunch at that price. If you have money, you have no excuse. SkyDrift and Bang Bang Racing seem interesting to me but their demos weren't enough to make a solid call. If I had money I probably would have just got them because I have little self control with <$5 games.

Commandos as in "super hard nazi killing game" Commandos? I have the first one on cd, not sure if that runs on W7?

I'd buy the collection, but I can't find it in the shop.

I'd buy the collection, but I can't find it in the shop.

They run way too fast and you have to do some tweaking to rum them on just one core of your cpu for them to run at regular speed.

I think the GOG veraion fixes that so thatd be the one to get

But their Steam username isnt unique. Everyone on Steam can have the same name at the same time.

Ha, yeah, you're right. I wish I could just send a gift to a user from his profile. Adding him as a friend kinda spoils the surprise. Well, thanks anyway.
