Hi,

I'm trying to buy XCom for £10.50 as it's on offer for £14.99 and with the 30% code, but I keep getting an error saying that there's a problem with payment. This isn't the first time this has happened to me and I'm finding this incredibly frustrating. I've sent tweets to your customer support account and had no reply.

I have tried using PayPal (which I've already used twice in the last week to buy Devil May Cry 4 and Book Of Unwritten Tales with no issues in paying), I've tried paying by bank transfer, I've tried my wife's bank account (which is a different bank altogether), and I've even transferred money direct to PayPal and tried paying using my PayPal balance. None of these have been successful and I've lost count of how many times I've tried and how much time I've wasted trying to buy XCom. I get an error saying that there's a problem with the bank but I find this unbelievable considering I've tried two different banks (my bank worked fine for my earlier purchases this week) and PayPal balance. Are you really trying to tell me that PayPal is refusing payments? I've also tried buying through two different PC's, my tablet and my mobile phone over 3G to rule out GMG having some problem with my router somehow.

As I said earlier, I'm not the only person having problems buying from GMG and I find this incredibly poor service. GMG are quick to post tweets saying about deals but don't seem to have the payment infrastructure to actually handle taking a payment for a game? I've not had a single problem with any other website, so I'd like to know why TWO bank accounts, PayPal and PayPal balance are all refusing to work? And what can I do to get XCom for £10.50 as I'd like to do before the deal expires?

I hope this can be resolved as I'm extremely unhappy at this "service".

The one game this sale I had no clue about previously that I was enticed by, but passed on, was Deadlight. Reminds me of Shadow Complex meets Walking Dead.

And I cannot get playable frame rates whatsoever at Boston. Hopefully Ubi puts out a patch since I'm not the only one having problems.

Its OK. Great graphics, but the stuff you do in the first 5 minutes, is the same stuff you'll do in the last 5 minutes.

Can anyone tell me the fix for the Walking Dead saved game bug? I've fixed it before but can't remember what I did and now a friend has got the same problem.

Does the indie side of the house get anything like dailies? I'm interested in picking up Stealth Bastard and, for some reason, Emerald City Confidential but have only seen the usual games in the flash/vote/daily cycle.

I hope this is the bug you were referring to.
You have Walking Dead files stored in two primary locations - My Documents and your Steam folder location in the Cdrive.

BACKUP ALL YOUR FILES BEFORE DOING ANY OF THIS

The problem is from the "prefs.prop" file not being the same version in the cdrive as your mydocuments folder. Go to the walking dead folder in my documents and find the prefs.prop file, and go into your cdrive>steam>steamapps>common>walkingdead>(one folder, not sure which) and find the prefs.prop file. Look at which one is the latest modified version (should be the my documents one) and copy it into the cdrive folder, replacing it. You should now be good to go.

I played each episode at release and had to do this every time, so you might need to fix it after every chapter.

Pretty sure you need to delete the prefs.prop file under the following directory -

\Steam\steamapps\common\the walking dead\Pack\default

Just make sure he backs it up first in case it doesn't work.

No, there is only the front store dailies. Also Stealth bastard won't get a deeper discount (at least on steam) according to the dev.

I'm about to use gamersgate for the first time (and the first time I've used paypal in forever.). I'm getting some warning about possibly being charged 3% of he purchase price for it being international? This Normal?
