Moyashimon Returns

After having just marathoned the first season prior to watching it, this is a huge animation/character design downgrade. :(

Hopefully the story will be good enough to make up for it, but it's really distracting. Shouldn't have watched the old one again. :/

I liked that. Reminded me of Ray, actually. It's the artificiality of the old relationship that's been typified here throughout all the Generation Bleu teams. In a way they're all orphans.
I have no problem with the theory. It's the execution that's just wacky.

Do do do dooooo!
This is about as close to hentai you can get without actually being hentai. Or maybe it is, I don't know...
Was fun to watch. To bad that's all there is.

Yeah :/

But I think the Art is actually improved because its more blending well and make transition to the "gag face" less jarring.

Not means I like the change that much though :(

At least the comedy still good.

RIDING BEAN

Holy fuck, Daryl from AWO wasn't kidding when he called this the perfect OVA. Everything from the fantastic animation to the tightly knit plot and characters blended perfectly together in this 45 minute masterpiece. It was kinda painful watching just how great the HAND DRAWN cars were compared to all the CG shit we get nowadays.

I guess I'll be checking out Gunsmith Cats next.

Moyashimon had some nice sake porn, the perfect show after Kazemakase Tsukikage Ran.

but the season looks pretty good with Moyashimon, Binbo, Jinrui, maybe Joshiraku and one or two other titles.

Finished Kaiji S2 and I'm not really that disappointed with it.
I actually enjoyed it, most of the time. Sure it got really slow near the end, the entire second arc is too long, but since I marathoned it, I guess I didn't feel it as much. It was still extremely tense and the first arc of the season is probably the best Kaiji arc.
So it's all good, maybe the lowered expectations helped too.
Hopefully we'll get a third season soon.

Eureka 7 AO 11

This show is getting stupider, but that also means it's getting more entertaining.

It seems that the awesomeness of E7AO is too much for some people to take. sonicmj1 and Mad Pierrot both seem to have trouble speaking properly now. :)

Hyouka 11

This episode was pretty good thanks to the fact that we finally got to see Oreki genuinely disturbed and absorbed in something that he actually casts aside his stupid energy saving ways for once and willingly takes the initiative to find out THE TRUTH. Now if only every episode of Hyouka could be as engaging as this was!

nah, you should be weary of
Eureka's shitty kids coming back as grown up and going SUP AO WE'RE YOUR ANIKIS BRO

Tsuritama 10-12 (END):
This really demands an eventual rewatch just to be able to witness the entire process of character progression at once. Even after being skeptical of Tsuritama's pace and characters for most of the first half, I still can't believe that it ended up where it did in a single season. Even knowing beforehand that shifting into "save the world" mode would ratchet up the drama and urgency of events significantly, I could not have envisioned it reaching such lofty heights, having managed to so elegantly weave tons and tons of characterization into events. I finally have the admiration for the show that I always wanted to have but just couldn't get myself to feel. A+ ending, fantastic experience, will recommend at every opportunity.

Cant wait to reexperience it when it is released here, hopefully given a dub, though I may watch but the sub again and the dub. Its really unforgetable and did the characters so well.

Hyouka is getting a new ED soon, and the official site has character designs for the new ED: http://www.kyotoanimation.co.jp/kotenbu/gallery/

Satoshi and Oreki seem cool, the rest are decent. I do like how we have so many outfits for all the characters so far, so kudos to the character design team.

Maturity, bitches.
So... crunchyroll took down Steins;Gate due to licensing issues... but on Funimation's own streaming site - where Steins;Gate is licensed it was also removed (or never uploaded?) even though they have a page for it... what gives? Is there anywhere I can see the show now that it's been licensed?
I love Funimation. They take show one can see outside of the US and then put a wall around it because they still think the web is a national institution.

These have strong avatar potential.
The Yurus vs The Hyoukas.

The other two characters certainly look more KyoAniesque.

Damn, I kinda want to try Kiviak now...

Anyways, the absolute insanity of the premise of this show was significantly subdued by just how charming and laid back it felt. It really is unlike anything else I've watched before. I'm definitely gonna enjoy just how quirky this is!

also, the cg was really well done and didn't at all fell out of place

Poirot is awesome dude, what the fuck?

Well I was under the assumption that she was the only non-Sherlock character, making her to odd one out. But I was corrected:

No. Houtarou is Arsene Lupin, Chitanda is Holmes, Satoshi is Moriaty, and Mayaka is Poirot.

Houtarou should have been Poirot so he could have had the 'stach, Poirot is nothing without the 'stach :(
