If you enjoy season 1 when you get to 2 lower your expectations.
I still think Madoka is my favorite character so far this year.

So once again, great fights. Bad talking. Neit especially had the best fight. While more things were talked about included a history lesson on England royalty in this world, Horizon's feelings or something and some cliffhanger, it was a decent episode.

God, the Saki girls are so sucky. I hope Moko and Riko will not survive the first round.
I don't like her as much as Kuroyukihime but she's not that bad. Maybe she does something later I'll find out soon enough.

Irisu is great. Nice character design and I'm fond of the VA.
Would like to see her relationship with other school members, since she seems like a bit of a loner!

"Zakenna" from the first Precure is an actual expression you've probably heard in more normal contexts in other anime.

"Yeah, get ready for toaster and lamp monsters for the majority of the next 45 episodes. Typically, objects just get MacGyver'd into monsters on the spot.
The one series that I've watched that is actually a lot better about this is Fresh Precure, which at least has some instances of the villains looking at an object beforehand and thinking "hmm, this could really fuck shit up if it got monster'd". You still get really terrible stuff like sandwich monsters that attack with egg slice projectiles though, hahahah.

Good first half. Nice use of Gaara and the other sand ninjas and had some good jokes.
Part two had potential but once the Chinese knockoffs came into the picture, got pretty boring and stupid quickly.

attempt to make a major change in a character into a plot point only to pull a reset at the end. It's so typical and boring, and it makes the entire arc feel like a waste of time. Episodic shows should stick to playing with the formula in a way which is unpredictable about also not attempting to rock the boat if they're not going to actually stick with it.

I'll be the first to admit that it doesn't really do anything new. In fact, it's reminiscent of Aria in terms of the theme of self-growth/self-discovery. But, that said, it's nice to go back to the familiar world of a low-key SatoJun show. I suppose it's my version of mecha/robot porn or fake lesbians or shounen action or whatever it is that people here like these days. lol
