Jinrui is pretentious drivel. I'm only watching it because it's pretty to look at and even that budget evaporated after the first two episodes.

There's Dan Eagleman, Haruka the Milf, Gai the Badass, Wheelchair Girl, and Nekomimi hacker girl. Then there's some bad guys or something. who the fuck knows

I didn't even know who the bad guy was until the half the show was over. lol.

Yeah, its awesome especially since I'm waiting for gw2 :)

SAO is awesome. One of the better shows this season imo.

Oh sweet, a training episode. In most shows this wouldn't be a cause for celebration, as we all know how these episodes work, however in Accel World it means that most the run-time is devoted to the game world. Thank God for that.

Nanoha 13

So naturally nothing is resolved... and now Fate and nanoha are all bff?

Best friends are made through beam shooting at each other eh?

Anyhow overall show... SoL stuff is terrible everything else is kinda cool animation is kinda terrible too.

5/10 (average).

One of the rare instances where the movie adaption of a whole show is better because it cut out the crap.

Oh you're going to love A's

Other than that, yeah it's about right. I'd probably go 6 instead of 5 but you can't just shake the fact that half the show is awful.

Subete no aware
Today's light-novel-turned-manga-turned-anime doesn't have as long a name as usual -- Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko (official English title "The 'HENTAI' prince and the stony cat"). The synopsis, as abridged from various sources:
LN volume 1 cover:
Heh, I probably shouldn't be surprised that this is getting turned into an animu.

I thought Taichi and Aoki did talk or have a deep conversation with each other in, um, ep 2?
I don't remember anything on this scale though. Then again, once you pull the
rape card
, everything else is pretty much trumped.

It's good know that you're out there tackling the important shows.
"If not me, then who? If not now, then when?!"

Oh man twintails. Watashi is best girl confirmed.

So with this new arc, I'm realizing that the show is not really following a chronological order. Mentions of
the Human Monument Project that was barely getting off the ground and the fact that her hair isn't sentient yet
more or less confirms that so now I'm wondering why they've chosen to take this route. In any case the set-up to this new arc seems a lot more interesting than the previous one at least. I like the newly introduced character and she seems like she'll play a fairly big role in the next episode.

It's probably just me but I got a slight Blame! vibe from the environment.

And as usual I still have no idea where the plots seem to be going but that's part of what makes me want to keep up with this.

Blood-C 11-12 END

Welp. That's it. That's actually it. That happened. I watched it happen. Yes, the signs were there, but somewhere at the back of my mind was a small voice of hope telling me that things weren't actually as they seemed. Or rather they were as they seemed. Or something. I don't know anymore.

Rather than repeating the events of the final episodes with expletives at various intervals, I'll instead just focus my rage and say that
Fumito you are an asshole of the absolute highest order. It's in my nature to develop a kind of warped respect for characters who devise overblown, maniacal schemes at the great expense of others, particularly where psychology/control are involved, but I just can't feel anything but a burning desire to see the guy's face smashed in by a sacred crowbar. I wanted Saya to wreck his shit so badly at the end I was this close to tilting the screen to try and crash his helicopter. If karma doesn't catch up with him in the movie I will not be a happy bunny.

Now that I see the full picture, I retcon my comments about the supporting cast being as dull as dry paint. The twins in particular became approximately 200% more awesome during the ep11 revelations, though it was obvious they weren't going to survive long beyond that point. At least they went out with a bang. Or a smash. Or a snap. I loved that after all Saya's efforts to save her teacher, she became an involuntary blood donor anyway.

I don't think I can grade this series. Not for a while anyway. I think I enjoyed it. Probably. Yeah.

But how would you know if you've never watched it? Hhhmm?

But seriously, if you like gun porn, you should watch it.

Alright, touche. Regardless, I have no plan to watch that show. It doesn't appeal to me and the premise looks ludicrously dumb.

I'm starting to see where the the opinion, that the original episodes are better comes from, particuarly here. Even though episode 12 could be classed as the closing episode of the first season, I feel that this draws a much more comprehensive line under the proceedings. The school concert was certainly more reflective (at least in the case of Yui), but I felt that this was altogether more sastifying as a spectacle.

The prospect of their first genuine performance defenitely gave it the air of a proper finale, and I appreciate that they continually looked to bumble their way through the night. It was a nice touch that made sense, especially as this is the first time they have performed outside of their comfort zone, essentially having got by until now, as big fish in a small pond.

A slight bugbear of mine up until this point, had been that the show was all too aware of how unlikely that the band's ability seemed (something which Yui mentions at the beginning of the series). And It was conspicuous, precisely because you are are beaten over the head with the fact that the light-music club pretty much get nothing done, for the most part. Yet, they somehow manage to rise to the occasion. That kind of plausible deniability reminds of Haruhi, which simply made mention of many pre-existing tropes, seemingly so it could just invoke them, regardless. But I digress, as it was nice to see this episode actually reference it.

I guess that means that I've finally reached the fabled land of series 2.

As a finale, I also just thought it worked better in pulling together the whole cast. The school performance felt like a backdrop for Yui's story, but this felt like it incoprporate the collective group much more effectively. Mio's realiziation that they have all grown since they all came together was a nice encapsulation of this, and actually serves to (neatly) underline the events of the series .

Maybe this is a pointless endeavour, but I fail to understand why some try to undermine the series by calling it...er, pointless. I can see why some wouldn't like it, but its far from aimless, and it's the interaction of the characters that renders almost all of that irrelevant. I'm doubt I'm saying anything new here, but I just wanted to express why it is that I have ended up liking this series so much. It simply establishes a breezy pace, and from then on you are left to inhabit the world of the characters.
