Oh god, didn't see that one coming. I had heard the ending was an odd one and knowing Gainax I shouldn't have been surprised but nothing could have prepared me for this. This is trolling to the nth degree. The fact that this will also probably be the final ending makes it even more hilarious. Any bad episode along the way was worth it just for this. Haha.
