Yep. Its completely random. Penguin Musume mixes a bunch of genres together, parody style. Its totally fun. Penguin Musume herself is absolutely adorable too. the show changes direction a bit later so be aware of that.

The episodes are only like 10 minutes long, so it wouldn't really ever be a waste.

Man, you must have really hated it. I gave it a 7. I used to watch just about anything that was anime. I'm probably clouded a bit by nostalgia but I remember enjoying KNM quite a bit.
I even bought the artbox and stuff. Its a pretty mediocre series I suppose.

I'd say that it'll take you a couple of minutes to read.

It sounds like Mayaka's rather flawless. Refined taste, so intelligent that it actually hurts her grades, and when it comes to her schoolgirl crush she's not childish, anxious, or begging for his approval. At the end of the article, the writer addresses this by saying that Mayaka's actually more perfect than normal.

That said, she really makes Hyouka sound like a neat show. Backlog get.

First segment was funny. Kyouko remains the best character. Sakurako and her little flavor of craziness has vaulted her up the standings this season. Wonder if she can keep this up.

I do take issue with the rather unorthodox decision of making the entire second segment a scenic look at an empty train station. Not sure what they were going for there.

I thought DRRR was pretty underwhelming. It's got too many characters, many of whom aren't particularly distinct and almost all of whom are one dimensional. I don't regret watching it or anything, but it was just not particularly exciting or entertaining. The only characters I wound up liking were Celty and Izaya, which is pretty bad considering the size of the cast.

Hmm... I didn't enjoy the cast very much either actually. I think the english dub was pretty awesome though. Crispin Freeman as Shizuo is freaking amaaaaaaaazing.
