Yes it is, I wish Shadows Of The Eternals wasn't under the Dyack curse, I really wanted to see that game reborn, they got David Hayter on board to play the Cop detective protagonist.

DS2 does a way, way, way better job. RE4 is one of the greatest games of all time and if I had to rate TEW right now I'd give it a 6. DS1 and DS2 are both tens. It's just the rating system isn't suited to differentiating between two tens like DS1 and DS2.

I believe you guys have even said this on the podcast before, but I hate the idea of scoring a game with a number/letter/etc. I'm always been more of a fan of just stating what you liked about the game and what you disliked.
I never should have brought it up. ArgumentGAF was far more fun.

You're way too generous on DS2. I'd definitely put it around a 7 where DS1 is basically a 10
Oh earlier today, I learned how to make my own sausages. I ended up making to much sausage though. I did my own interpretations of chorizo, italian sausage and beef hotdogs. And then I started making jams,jellies and marmalade for stocking stuffers.I feel pretty great about my progression in my culinary skill tree

From softs B team started with one idea though. They had a clear vision.
IIRC, Shinji Mikami salvaged this project from a failed scifi game, although salvage is highly questionable.
TEW just makes me rather play RE4.

Liam got into another huge review score argument. Personally I think games should be scored with a dollar value. A bit extreme, but I think reviews as buyers guides need to go full throttle and get away from this reviewing it as art shit. Review it like it's a hammer or a car.
