Callin it now...Rosalina top 5.

Backdash is a teleport, can edge guard from midscreen. can self setup wombo combo and god help you getting back on the stage since she can sick Luma WAY out there after you. If you get in on her DONT LET UP. She looks harsh.

Please let this be a fact for the next few years :D

Any good gameplay with her? I keep thinking that her gimmick won't translate well to Smash, but I really hope that that's not true.

So is there a reason why my 3DS reboot everytime I quit the game to go back in the home menu?

Probably for the same reason we can't access Miiverse or the Browser whilst in game - the game seems to use more memory than we've seen in 3DS games before (or something) and so I think the system has to reload the OS. Notice the game takes longer to boot than normal to.

To everyone that has the demo. Don't forget on the stage select screen if you press X you can use the Final Destination form of Battlefield. So it's essentially 2 stages for the demo =)

No, it doesn't seem many people who have the JP game (that are streaming) are unlocking custom moves. Plus, what you get unlocked is completely random it seems.

Completely random, though it does favour unlocks for the character you're currently using slightly.

You can also get duplicates, which is making trying to unlock them all really hard.

They have their own animations?

I noticed some different characterization with Lemmy's taunt where he spins around in the Clown Car with the wheels, as his expression is visibly more dazed than Jr.'s. Probably has a lot to do with how much more expressive Lemmy looks than Jr.. Love the detail regardless.

#%@& Master Core. I made it to MC on difficulty 9 and got destroyed 10 times straight. Struggled so much with my shadow self (Mario).

Minor qualms with my own skills aside, game is amazing. Unlocked 4 characters and ready for the next 8.

Just a few streams, but she's nuts. She can catch folks low jumping with a mashable magic wand and if it knocks them back they land right into luma for a wombo combo that can stage kill you quick. If she's on a small stage like the old Kid Icarus size one from Brawl she pretty much controls ALL the space available. She literally has corner to corner coverage with Luma and her dash and back dash are sooooo good for dodging around stuff. She gets disgusting in some of the streamer matches goin on. Even on non competitive stuff like the JWittz stream she is pretty crazy if you just know how to run around.

I've been seeing a lot of success from throwers to just plain prevent folks from getting back on smaller stages at all.

I was so pissed when I thought I wouldn't get the demo, ended up getting it and it genuinely amazes me how it feels. I thought it'd be hard to get used to the controls since I bitched about the Pro Controller at E3, but it's grown on me in the 45 minutes I've played it. Can't wait to use my guy in the final version

Edit: also, for anyone who regularly posts in SmashGAF without a demo, PM me, I have two codes left

Ness has PK Freeze (He actually says PK freeze as well) but it's just as useless as PK Flash, hope whatever the other customisation is is actually good.

He also has a PK thunder that goes through people and the PKT2 is multihit.

It's so much better than his default PK thunder.

Lyte Edge

All I got for the Vernal Equinox was this stupid tag
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck, this game is awesome.

THIS. GAME.

Get hyped for it-- it's worth it.

Currently messing around with the default roster. Everyone is pretty good!

ahh so he does infact get lucas's special moves i wonder if his psi magnet and his pk fire will change to match lucas's as well wonder what pkt 3 or his 3rd standard b move is lol

its weird, it has bits of brawl and bits of melee, more melee than brawl but the gravity of the game is a happy medium between the two. im honestly hyped for this game now.

I keep hearing great things and then worst things from Mega Man. I was hoping he would be at least fun to play with and then somewhat worth using.
I would;t worry about him. He's seems really good, he's just very different from any other Smash characters with this emphasis on ranged attacks. I think people are just not getting used to him.

I wonder if Falco and Fox get Wolf's special move properties, too. Maybe that was part of the reason both him and Lucas were dropped.

This demo is amazing! Not a fan of Mega Man though but every one feels incredibly balanced.

On runup use the top spin to buy some security and on his neutral game use the spark man weapon because its range is better than it appears, sucks them in and puts them above you to send up off the stage with juggles. Also remember that he can run and shoot to march shit like the soccer ball at folks to approach safely. I'm still hoping to see some good hard knuckle setups to dunk folks but so far its all up throws, guts throws and spark to put them above you then tornado, buster, tornado shenanigans.

His mobility is sweet for a zoner. but he seems to be more a mid screen anti air specialist rather than a full screen zoner from what I'm seeing.

So Rosalina might actually be viable?! Yeesss, time to represent the real Smash Queen!

He does have Lucas' PSI Magnet and he has a PK fire that always goes horizontally but still creates a flame pillar, except the flame pillar only lasts for two hits and the end lag is still massive.

I'm still missing one customisation for each of his specials.

Yeah, Mega Man is all about constant ranged harassment, but then you close the gap and finish them off with one of his hard-hitting melee attacks. The tricky thing is he's ranged on the ground and melee in the air, so it makes learning him kind of awkward.

He sounds like he will be fun to play around with.

Question to people who own the game:

Is Swimming in?

What does the Ω Mode cursor do on the Stage Select?

Is it possible to turn off bosses in levels they appear in?

as a close ranged character, he only has a few tools to help him but his air normals are really good. he wont be fast but he does damage.

Final Destination stage version (Flat stage).
Seriously. He's tough to get used to but when it clicks oh maaaaaaaaaannnnnnnn

I love spamming the Boxing Glove/Shovel animations, lol.
It clicked for me after about 20 minutes. So goood!

Been playing the demo; Link feels so much better than before. I can actually RECOVER now. Been loving Pikachu in this game too, though his USmash doesn't seem to be as strong as before.

Gonna mess around with Mega Man later.
