Jiggly can be both, but most Jigglypuffs are female
They did speed up a few of his moves.
We don't but 75% female species with an assortment of female accessories in smash is good enough for me!

This is quite the character evolution. I applaud Sakurai for bringing back a fan favorite and giving him an all new move set.
Brawl in the family gets there with the jokes again, long before we even realise we need them.
Smash 5 to just have him flopping across stage.

75% of the Jigglypuff population in Pokemon games is female. All of Jigglypuff's hats have her wear feminine gear, including the hat of a female trainer (at least in Brawl, not sure that one is back in SSB4).

We still don't know if he has any armor to nullify projectiles, if his air flame choke ledge recovers or whether he can instantly cancel into moves off stuff like some of the other cast can. If he can do stuff like say how Link can instantly do followups off down or up throw without recovery lag then it'll be pretty solid damage. He wont be top tier of course no matter what given the roster I see, but we still need to play and find out what new followup options he has. As a ten year Dorfer main I can definitely say he looks a bit quicker on some stuff. I need to see how it chains to really tell whether he will work.
And again...increased rollspeed is in and it WILL make a difference on this character. He lived on it before and it being faster means he will get through easier than in brawl.

Honestly, I'm salty that Greninja, Wii Fit Trainer, Rosalina, Dark Pit, Lucina, Robin, and Mii's got in over more deserving characters.

Um... yes. Where did you get the implication from anything we've been told that he would be a proper boss character if non-playable? He was hinted at being a stage hazard, and stage hazards aren't as aggressive as bosses.
And don't misinterpret what I'm saying. I'm not arguing that he won't be playable or that that footage does not show playable Ridley. I'm just saying that the argument being made in that video is not compelling and requires more assumptions than stage hazard.
You're right that intrusive stage hazards have not been a big problem in the series. A lot of people didn't like Spear Pillar, though, and it looks like stages like Wily Castle, Gerudo Valley, and Unova Pokemon League have stage hazards that are far far more intrusive than what we've seen in past games. They take up too much of the stage.
As a general rule, people don't expect cuts. But I agree, of all the veterans he always the least likely to return.

Duck Hunt Dog and Wii Fit Trainer are some of the best surprise characters outside of Mr. Game and Watch and R.O.B. Have no idea where all this hate comes from.

I will say that WFT and DH will probably be fun to play and are at least faithful to their series, unlike Ganondorf which is by far the most infuriating thing. Especially when they included Dr Mario as a way to please fans of classic Mario from s64/melee how hard would it be to include another newcomer/clone to take ganondorf's moveset while giving him something unique. Damn it sakurai
Melee and Project M say otherwise.
PM makes him one of the most satisfying characters to play in the entire series.
The potential is there, Sakurai just has an allergy to making certain characters not complete shit.

He was in Brawl. You make it sound like the people asking for snake were asking as if he's never been there. He was in the same position as he was in brawls inclusion.
I hate how people think his Nintendo appearances have anything to do with his non appearance in this smash.
Brawl In The Family made such cute comics with her and kirby kind of liking each other in a childs girl and boy way I always saw Jig as a she. Also in the anime she seemed a girl too, and hats in smash have been masculine for pikachu (or at least unisex) and femenine for jiggly
I think they're awesome.
I am not sure what "more deserving" means though. Wii Fit got pretty big at one point.
And Dunk Hunt Dog is just awesome, like, everything he stands for lol.
