For parity? Since not everyone would own those characters? If this indeed happens I think this would lead credit to Smash Bros DLC not becoming a reality. It would show an "issue" with Nintendo's ability to balance a game after it's been released with new content.

I don't believe they were fake, just incredibly early in development. Like close to the final draft, but not quite the concrete end list. Also Chorus Men clearly seem to have been cut very late, they have a few trophies (none of them specifically though) and the clone corner is exactly the same place they would be in the CSS, chronologically.
Chrom was probably cut extremely early, but not late enough in development for this leaker to know.

During my time with Smash Run I never saw any bosses. The closest thing to a boss was a reaper from Uprising. Did anyone happen to record footage of these supposed Smash Run bosses?

There are a lot of times, when looking at the game on an old stage, that it's difficult to believe that it's a new game. That's a little disappointing. The stages on the 3DS as a whole are disappointing.
Still insane to me that they reworked Bowser but not Gannondorf. I just have no idea what was going through their minds that day, when they said 'You know who needs to be totally redone? ... Bowser!'

I feel bad for people who happen to work in the games industry who might also enjoy commenting and speculating on games they know nothing about. In regards to the Wii U button that has been repeatedly mentioned, I wouldn't be shocked if all that did was allow you to unlock stuff on one version that you've unlocked on the other version.

Mario kart and smash aren't even comparable.
Most importantly, the characters in mario kart are already grouped into preset stat boosts. No doubt the DLC characters will simply be placed in one of the preexisting sets. For all intents and purposes, there are only actually 7 types of character in MK8, with different skins. So there would be no reason to block the DLC mario kart characters from being used online.
Same goes for Kart parts

While I have trouble believing a decade old NeoGaf user with a record of leaking legitimate information would just casually throw away his account on a whim, for me the ONLY reason I'm confident we'll get something significant for the Wii U version is the MK8 DLC. That new Warlock Punch animation and effect look super legit. And it suddenly gives me hope that he's have a projectile version as a custom move.

Ooh. Some stuff there is definitely faster. Glad he sweet spotted the elbow once to help show range. Looking solid. The roll speed increase will help a lot too of course. More speed on a good couple things there.
He looks... Bad.
Feel like faster characters will still shit on him lol. Whatever though, I've always liked Ganny.
