I haven't seen it yet, but probably.

Just because it's a human, doesn't mean they're always DIing properly. Just that they can learn to. Especially this early in the game, most aren't sure which way to DI what.

I'd like to see more multiplayer though. I'm surprised more aren't getting together and streaming it.
 
i'm very glad this thread is not as snobby as the smash subreddit on reddit. That place is filled with stupid stuff like "I'M SCARED THIS GAME WILL BE LIKE BRAWL BECAUSE BRAWL WAS LITERALLY THE WORST GAME EVER." and filled with people who follow Mew2King like a god.
Then they turn around and say just cringe-inducing stuff like "we should all send tweets to Sakurai because he has obviously listened to us and our complaints he went above and beyond. Just weird

You guys, and most of the internet seem pretty ok and not weird. lol.

I'm new here, btw. and can we curse?

Its not against the rules to swear, but don't go overboard using them and never swear at another user

Remember, CPUs are easy combo fodder, never believe anything unless it's both human players because the CPUs don't do shit.


...Unless of course it's teching grounded meteor smashes 99% of the time. THAT they can do apparently, but DI-ing out of a combo? Now that's the tricky bit.

In the video Zero claims it's a true combo because the level 9 will spam airdodge, I don't know if I believe him about that either lol

Obviously it's going to depend on DI against a second player but all the footage of strings and combos like this gives me hope for this game in general. I just want my hands on it ASAP.

On a somewhat unrelated note, Smash 4 Doubles is gonna be nuts. Characters like Villager and Little Mac are going to be insane doubles characters... a team like Fox/Little Mac is probably going to be amazing if the Power Meter builds up with friendly fire. With no knockback on the blaster, you could intentionally shoot it at Mac to build meter and secure a KO Punch.

That's because it's a screenshot of Other M's Ridley battle.

Also, the pic for Zero suit Samus for some bizarre reason is a first-person view of a Berserker Lord from Prime 3.

Since Kraid and Ridley are the two original Metroid bosses, and Mother Brain's already got representation as an AT, it'd be a way to reunite all three characters from the first Metroid in one game.

(Assuming, somehow, that the terrible Brinstair Depths stage doesn't pop up.)
