Watch it get Ashley's Song.
and nothing else
The sound helps telegraph Mom's appearance in the original game and is a big part of what makes the game suspenseful. They could back off the music, as you say, maybe having the violins gradually overpower the music (while the music fades out), so you know to start hiding. But I do hope they have a "sounds of night" track that is just like Game & Wario, where you just hear the crickets chirping outside and the occasional creaking of people moving about.
If -- and this is a big "if" -- that Tower of Smash rumor is correct, and WarioWare returns as a retro stage for WiiU (rumor say it's in both versions), then they could just put all of the WW music on that stage, while Gamer gets the "sounds of night" track conducive to its suspense-building.
I'm going to out-smartass you and point out that WW is an abbreviation for WarioWare because TWW is the proper abbreviation for The Wind WakerHow are they going to handle the Wind Waker music when there are two stages based on that game?

I'd be completely OK with this because it means we'd be getting the best stage in the series in both versions. If -- and this is a big "if" -- that Tower of Smash rumor is correct, and WarioWare returns as a retro stage for WiiU (rumor said it's in both versions), then they could just put all of the WW music on that stage, while Gamer gets the "sounds of night" track conducive to its suspense-building.
It probably will, LOL
I wouldn't mind WarioWare being in both games, especially since we have a new stage in the form of Gamer.I'd be completely OK with this because it means we'd be getting the best stage in the series in both versions.
Maybe the music could dial back a bit when the violins start playing. Or maybe the players have to be really aware of what's going on in the background.
Out of curiosity, why don't people like Mike's Song?
I like the JP version, US version was pretty disappointing.Out of curiosity, why don't people like Mike's Song?
It wouldn't fit the Gamer stage at all but I need the Dribble and Spitz theme from the original WarioWare in this game

Personally, I'm a fan of the super-serious Haru-Natsu-Aki-Fuyu.

EDIT: And the above song
goddamn it why is there still no warioware game on 3ds
isnt that just the PDP pa--
Gotta love Turbo controllers.
Damn, WarioWare has good music. Can't we just get them all? Maybe give Wario a Wario Land stage, but loan it a song or two to cram them all in there...
I know; even the DSi got one!
I NEED THIS
I'm not very familiar with third-party controllers. Is HORI a good brand?isnt that just the PDP pa--
"HORI"
SWEET JESUS
If we get a Virtual Boy stage in the form of that Wario Land game, I would be completely happy with the stage selection.
If the Xenoblade Wiki isn't mistaken, it is.
Probably the best there is. Everything they make is extremely high quality.I'm not very familiar with third-party controllers. Is HORI a good brand?
Imagine:
A Wario Land stage that transitions from Wario Land: Shake It, to Virtual Boy Wario Land, and back and again.
So does this plug into the GameCube adapter, or does it plug into a Wiimote?Probably the best there is. Everything they make is extremely high quality.
It acts like a Classic Controller, so the latter. So does this plug into the GameCube adapter, or does it plug into a Wiimote?

I'll probably pick one up just so I can use it for some Wii/N64 VC games on WiiU if the GC adapter isn't backwards compatible for vWii usage.
Looking through more files.
So yeah. Doc Louis and ReDead were planned to be assist trophies or so. I wonder if they were planning to have ReDead as Goldeen of Assist Trophies.
Surprised there aren't any leftover Isaac or Ray MK III files.
God dammit do I want Ray MK III. Almost starting to feel like there's a chance.
I prefer the GC controller to the Classic Controller so it would be a step up in basically any game that supports the CC for me, hahahmm, how good is it for that though?
I'd pick one up if there was a Peach one to go with my Wiimote... yes, I know of PDP.
Knowing Nintendo, the Gamecube adapter will be compatible with Smash 4 and only Smash 4..
haha
and ew who would ever use that terrible SNES/Gamecube hybrid
I kind of want that if they replace every instance of "Ashley" with "5-Volt"
