Probably mad that the movie will actually draw an audience.

This Supergirl gets shot with arrows while drunk.

Oh, certain people will still start outrage drama about that movie because, if it follows the comic run which definitely seems to be the case, it’s focused on Supergirl helping an alien girl hunt down a murderer who happens to be a man, so you know, “woke” will definitely come up from certain Youtuber ragebaiters and such. Never mind they’re avenging the alien girl’s father who is portrayed as a wonderful man and father in the flashbacks, as is Supergirl’s father, but FACTS and CONTEXT certainly won’t ever stop the clickbait-loving forced drama media grifters from getting that sweet, sweet outrage money.

I don’t feel it. Maybe it’s the colors. Especially in the scene with the little girl, this bright yellow. It looks so artificial.

And Luthor with a gun looks like a cheap Agent 47 from Hitman.

Gives me the same vibes as the Argylle movie..

In for Pruitt Taylor Vince as Pa. Honestly though, looks great. I don't think any modern superhero movie has matched what it felt to watch Superman 1 & 2 when I was a kid. Hopefully this is the one to change that.

This Superman comes of as weak, a coffee cup thrown at him makes him blink...? Even the crater he creates why falling from the sky...looks weak somehow...

Calling it now, Supergirl will be much stronger than him. Other than that, looks okay I guess. Glad Louis is hot and apparently hetero.
I like that Superman isn't too strong. He power level was perfect in the old Fleischer Studios cartoons.

Days like these...

Have a Blessed Day
Even the crater he creates why falling from the sky...looks weak somehow...

I noticed that too. I don't know what's wrong with me but I notice the tiniest things another thing that bothered me is when superman and lois are hugging in the air why is her body dangling away from his is there no gravity? They both look almost perfectly perpendicular

For the start of a universe I feel there are way too many characters on display. None will get the screen time needed to really make an impression.
I had high hopes there was not gonna be world ending cgi monsters in the first movie of this universe. My prediction: DC will become galactic, in scope, way to fast and fall in the same trap Marvel did. After a certain point you can’t escalate the threads to mankind.

My puppy dog sitting on my lap perked up when Supes whistled.
*hugs puppy dog*

Your dog (translated): “No, human friend! What are you doing?! Why restrain me so?! Did you not hear Superman’s cry for help? I must make haste up to the Arctic to assist him! Mankind’s fate depends on it! Please, human friend! No, don’t hold me closer! You have surely doomed us all!”

First half of the trailer was garbage with trashy electronic guitar. The second it changed music and showed Lex, it got much better. But I dont like how there seems to be all kinds of other superheroes, a dragon and whatever other magical stuff there is.

Superman isnt Marvel battlefests with tons of characters.

Superman should be him, Lex and a major foe or simialr grouping like Zod and gang. Thats it. The guy who plays Lex looks good though.

Most likely, the other heroes are the JLI, the Justice League International, being run by Maxwell Lord.

My theory is that the movie will depict the JLI heroes as heroes BUT they have sponsors and such, only do official interviews and don’t really talk much to people in public, etc., basically “corporate” superheroes. Also, Maxwell Lord will use and deceive them into thinking Lex Luthor is on the up and up, with Luthor helping fund the team to boost his public image so he can make it less likely anyone will investigate to see if he is involved in shady business which of course he will be.

Superman turns down the offer to join the JLI and instead helps people with no financial gain, sponsor, and he takes time to talk to people purely because he wants to. This infuriates Lex who already falsely believed Superman had a hidden sinister agenda, being a powerful alien, and is now outraged at Superman doing so many selfless acts that contradict Lex’s warped view on him, and so he tries to turn the public against Superman (and succeeds with a few of them as we see some citizens mad at Superman in one moment in the teaser). The JLI heroes are briefly duped into thinking Superman needs to be arrested (as we see Guy Gardener/Green Lantern going after him in one moment) but soon realize Lex is the true threat. Desperate, Lex turns to Plan B (my theory is he gets Bizarro to fight for him, either somehow recruits him from Bizarro World or they go the New 52 route and make Bizarro a clone of Superman) and the final fight of the movie ensues (probably with Lex fighting as well, maybe we’ll finally see the Power Armor he uses in the comics).

The kaiju is likely to be a short scene and not that relevant to the plot, just to show Superman’s heroics and strength and to showcase the fantastic nature of this world. The main plot I think will show why Superman is so special among the heroes and inspirational to those heroes and the world, and thus the movie is using these extra superheroes in the story to convey that. And such a plot is definitely appropriate for Superman.

looks cheap as fuck.

DC used to have some standards. They are clearly trying to capture the Bryan Singer 2005 teaser. and failing miserably at it.

Your Superman Returns teaser and Suicide Squad (The first one) teaser make it very apparent that teasers are not indicative of movie quality. Both were worse than advertised.

I'd argue the same goes for Dark Knight Rises as well, but people cope-review that movie at a much higher score than it deserves, knowing very well there are some awful parts in it that can't measure up against the first two.

I'd lose my shit if Mxyzptlk is in this

That Superman The Animated Series episode where Superman just trolls him (since Mxyzptlk will only leave for a few months if Superman tricks him into saying his own name backwards, cue Superman consistently tricking him in less than a minute constantly) basically the whole episode is god tier.

“Oh, it’s you again, Mr. Kltpzyxm.”
“Not ‘Kltpzyxm’! Mxyzptlk! Now, the first thing I’m gonna do- Aw, nuts!” (vanishes)

It's not a great trailer, kid looks a bit childish in comparison with cavill, costumes look kinda funky but i'll gladly watch it, hopefully on a movie theater.
