Take Two's recently filed annual report removes all references to support of DEI

Million seller confirmed (?) People will buy GTA6 even if they put Bella Ramsey as protagonist and asks you to choose pronouns at the beginning. I'd bet chuds cannot stop something as massive as GTA from being a success.

... it was a simple question... I could be wrong but it seems thread like this are always create intentionally to generate a sort of reunion for the people outraged about this stuff. But it's just my impression and I'm too much specious.

Which doesn't mean shit, because it's already been infiltrated, just because they don't mention it doesn't mean they're still not going to be hiring that type from within when the people who do the hiring are engulfed in that culture. It's possible they may be legitimately getting rid of those policies, but only time will tell.

At the very least their desire to walk back from it publicly is an acknowledgement that they fear being punished (in $$$ terms) for embracing it openly. It also suggests that fear is now greater than their fear of any backlash from the woke mob.

It may not magically fix these companies overnight, but as an indicator of where society is it's good news. The assumption that they would lock in this layer of degeneracy with society and then move on to the next is being rejected.

Wow! It's almost as if this has always been about politics and securing financing, and not an actual change in culture. Who would've thought that continuing to put effort into trying to appeal to the % of a % of people wouldn't work out!!

They killed Hogwarts Legacy. Them and Reddit coordinated ban on the game along with outlets refusing to review it literally doomed that game into the ET trashheap of video game history.

Remind me again how well did it sell that year?

Like last place because the modern audience put their foot down and refused to name the game by name on the purple site. Man, if I was a major game developer I would live in fear of crossing the purple brigade with their combined influence, respect, and impact on the general audience.

I would live in terror of a sales performance like Hogwarts Legacy.

This isn't the triumph or victory that some seem to think it is. They already said that they're toning down a lot of the satire against certain groups in GTA VI. Just because some corpo mission statement language disappeared, it doesn't mean anything is going to actually change for the better. The satire and dark humor will be aimed at safe targets, and will be severely toned down or nonexistent against others. They just don't want to offend anyone in a way that will go viral and public, because that will hurt sales. There is no philosophical attempt at siding one way or the other here. It is just another corpo decision that revolves around your money.

I mean you had Yusuf Amir saying the N word constantly in GTA IV, and while it was funny its also a bit ehh if you go back and watch that shit now.

You know what I mean? Looking at the trailer tho I think there will be gay people as well, one guy is standing quite feminime with his posture taking a selfie in one of the scenes (at the basketball court where they are watching something on a phone and go woooowwww)

That doesnt make it woke to me but realistic

The far woke extremists having a full lock on all major social media -through like-minded people in those companies and the government- gave them a significant amount of power to dictate the direction of travel and silence any who opposed their agenda. They were able to give the impression of being a far more significant % of the population than they ever actually were, just by making the majority afraid to speak against them.

I don't think it was 'obvious' they could be stopped until they lost Twitter and the dam burst, but now that it has the companies have to try and get on the right side of it.

It helped that it was being funded and backed by the wealthy elites of the world in the WEF and Bilderberg Group meetings. Easiest way to subjugate nations, especially ones with strong free speech laws.
 
Good. Get it out of games and out of corporations. Equal opportunity employment is good, dei is bad.

I was in reddit the other night in a sub for gen x or something like that. They were making fun of some dudes jacket and one guy was like "i bet they even hate dei".

I said " but dei is shit and racist".

150 downvotes later and counting.
2 "reddit cares -suicide notices"
20+ responses, loaded with insults and "off yourself c@nt".
Really empathetic bunch there, lol....
Then I started saying slang from the era I grew up in and i could tell most of the people commenting were not even gen X. They used phrases like "my guy, and my dude, sweet summer child, i can't even" shit you would see on Resetera. I knew then it wasn't the regulars in the sub but there is some keyworld alerts. Most people in gen x don't like this shit, or use those phrases, so i knew something was up.

It's crazy how far these people will go. I followed up with facts, links and got nothing but more vitriol.

My concern is that these companies will still be injecting the bs. Although if they want another concord, saints row, redfall failure games they better stop.

Hopefully Rockstar still has some people with common sense working there.
