All I got for the Vernal Equinox was this stupid tag
Any advice for dealing with aggressive Paul players? I got utterly destroyed by someone using his Phoenix Smasher a ton and I never had a problem dealing with it so much in the other games before.

That feel when you spend way longer than you should trying to get the online to work, join a lobby finally only to be kicked or the host leaves lol

Can't wait for ps4 ranked to be fixed. It's been great when I play with friends (luckily that still works) each night.

Hot damn this game is so good. It's worth being tired at work the next day for sure.

They really need to implement a rematch option for private matches. Especially with how long fights take to get into.

Also I echo Aris, who the hell thought it was OK to leave a set at 1-1 and not get the full 2 out of 3 online via a 3rd revenge match.

Terrible mistake but hopefully easily fixed.

Both rematches for private and unlimited revenge matches for ranked needs to happen.

Right now player matches is by far the best experience for online due to the unlimited revenge matches and no character select screen between matches.

Yeah that's kinda irritating. If I win the second set in the runback I always feel like I'm running away with the W.

Give the new soundtrack some time, there are a lot of great tracks in there - some of which is hard to hear with all the shit going on.

If you're still wanting some classic tekken tunes on PC - you can set up a playlist in VLC, turn on global hotkeys, and use the PS4 trackpad to change songs with steam's controller configuration thing...

It's great on PC but a lot of people are having trouble on PS4.

Think I might have to get an arcade stick, I'm dropping inputs all the time and it's sometimes registering button presses more than once. Pressing 1+2, 2+4 etc seems to mess me up most. I'm bloody crap with arcade sticks so that transistion should be fun.

Anybody got recommendations for an entry level stick that won't break the bank?

You can bind all sorts of those dual button inputs to the shoulder and bumper buttons in-game.

I have to do that, there's too many useful moves with Yoshi to mess about there. Otherwise I'd have to play it with my fingers on the buttons like a keyboard instead of holding the controller properly. And even then, it's kinda hard.

My HRAP3 with sanwa buttons is missing atm but it's a pain to get that out everytime I want a quick match anyway. Takes up so much space! I've been eyeing a mini stick but the pad is fine for tekken tbh.

Same thing happened to me. Spent way too long trying to join one, watch one match, host with winning streak loses, insults the other guy on chat, and closes lobby right as my match is about to start.

Sucks, because I don't have much time to play with summer classes, and I have only gotten 2 player matches so far, and nothing else online.

I know and agree with Aris I'm not learning anything real but I think I want to try and get halfway decent at those rn before learning anything else Devil Jin. they're fun to do

I feel you homie, it is frustrating right now. Myself I'm just going to lab it up and continue to educate myself on how to play and hit some more treasure hunt for gear.

Need the patch.

I got one match today. A little laggy with 3 bars but whatever. Fuck as fuck spacing dudes out with Akuma and just being a jerk with his fireballs and tatsus.

Or you realise the host is afk after a long wait for the lobby to fill and you have to decide if you should start the whole process over... :/

Great game though, bs final boss.. but still. Easiest platinum in a fighting game ever?

Is anyone else getting random mid match disconnections on PC?

It's definitely not my internet that is causing them because everything else seems fine.

I can't imagine it was rage quitting, either.

Edit: Oh, i guess Steam maintenance could have caused them.

Alisa's rage art is worse, it's active forever so it's hard to punish, safe on block, and can actually cross you up if she's close to you.

If they never fix the online on PS4 it'll be harder than SFV's Platinum.

The safe part isn't an issue. The problem is that it's mid. Both Jin and Steve have safe supers but they are high and can be ducked.
But since hwo has to be in a stance to do his super i guess being a safe mid is ok -_-
