Damn, I really like Lee and Bruce and to a lesser extent Marduk.
There will be time release characters added later and hoping that it is not just new characters added but old aswell.
Having new characters is indeed very tempting, but bringing back old favs does service to the fans.
Yeah I know that but I'm just wondering if that report can be trusted. I think it was a gaffer who had talked with a representative of the team. So I guess it's highly likely true.

I guess they'll be adding characters in similar fashion as Revolution. The big difference is remodeling characters in new engine and artstyle. I have no idea if the models are build from ground up or upgraded from base T6/Tag2 models but that could be time consuming either way. Rest is straightforward.
1 character per 3-4 months seems reasonable. Unless like Revo they just stop working on the game.

Harada also said that there are gonna be time release characters who are new.
I'm just scared of what horror Namco might have planned for the other brand new characters coming as time release. After LC I can't trust Namco anymore. Of course I might get lucky with an awesome design like Shaheen, but their recent rack record isn't giving me a lot of hope.

I'm repeating myself by I don't believe they are getting rid of anyone.(Tag2 clones don't count.)
The single only reason that not everyone is there right now is that T7 is clearly rushed and it probably will take them until late next year to put back all the characters in.
I mean guys, let's think logically here. Tekken, famous for cultural diversity, Harada himself proud of that.
You think they suddenly cut off all Black characters or most of the women? Not counting iconic characters like Kuma who's been in all Tekken's, more then Kazuya. Jack. Come on. Will someone bet one cent that Jack with number 7 won't pop in this game?
Same goes for the rest.
You're probably right when it comes to Tekken, but it's worth noting that Soulcalibur 5 did all of those things, and no update was thought necessary to change that

I wonder how often they'll release a character. It can't be every 3-4 months as mentioned, if we are at around 22 characters now, and we'll end up at probably 35, give or take. That would be 4 characters in a year. So I guess every few weeks we'll get a time-release character?

Weeks at a time makes more sense to me than 4 months at a time.
I have a feeling the console release wont be too far off from now like early 2016.

The fact that they didn't spill the beans about Jin makes me think I'm right on track with that Jin/D.Jin merge as one character and they are preparing big reveal.
The Jin/D.Jin flashbacks behind Kazumi in opening made me even more certain about this.
If it won't happen my jaw will hit the floor.
I wonder if they'll be filling in characters in order of popularity? If so then who's data? Japan? All Asia? World?

That's true. But is it possible to make a model, it's customs, outfits, Rageart and grunt work in just few weeks? It's the speed of Revo characters that only had faces updated.
Unless they already made the models.

We need all the liquids we can get in this game. People had really glossy skin before and almost looked like dolls. Their skin was just too smooth.

I agree, and the wet effects made it look worse. It was so unnatural looking.
The improvement in such a short time was impressive. I remember watching countless Tag 2 videos and some even in HD but when i got the console game i was really impressed.
There will just be more improvements going forward.

Screens from what I can see look nice. Isn't that the Dragon's nest stage from Tekken 5 with Law and......wait, where did Bryan go? Did Law knock him off the screen? The last picture with Lucky Chloe might confirm that there are no 2P outfits.
This looks dope. I'm super hyped!
And I have to say all of the new characters seems interesting. Unique in their own way. Katarina being mashing friendly. Claudio having his magic. Chloe being rhythm based. And Shaheen just being cool.
I also love all of the stages so far. And can't wait to see the lava stage.

You should show more appreciation, and less disappointment.
I didn't say I wasn't appreciative, I just thought it was weird we had all this Shaheen and Chloe and not a glimpse of Kazumi.
It was said she was the final boss and that she could shoot pet-projectiles.
