Rip and Aris aren't lacking opportunities to play Tekken. I'm sure they will get more than most by release time.
Max really does like Tekken, give it a month at least.

It's not just Max that decides how much a game gets played. Both Kenny and Steve play Tekken and Steve significantly better than Max. If those two get on board as well there is a good chance it can become a consistent title in the rotation.
If Namco was smart they wouldn't stop with Max either. Word of mouth goes a long way in this industry. Giving Let's Players a little bit of time with the arcade version could really help with that.
I understand from a character perspective, but this is costumes we are talking aboutI mean he did it for songs, whats the difference!

Songs and the endings are way simple to put in than developing outfits to fit.
They already developed new stuff that people cared way more about. Any fan fav stuff is just a bonus

Scenario Mode and Tekken Force should stay far away from Tekken. They should find inspiration from Mortal Kombat's story mode instead.

I disagree. Mortal Kombat 9 had fantastic story mode, long like a movie and fleshed out. But they didn't repeat that with X. MKX had few cutscenes strung together with little sense or purpose. Motion capture was great but the whole realization of the "story" in "story mode" was awful.
If Netheralm couldn't repeat what they did best I doubt Namco could copy it.
Nah better Tekken do their own thing. Scenario mode wasn't bad idea. It was just awful gameplay and control wise and writing was so minimalistic like they were afraid of characters having real conversations.
Force mode should be in, just simplified to T3, T4 formula.
And other minigames - I hope there's as many as possible. Did anyone ever complained that they included Tekken Ball or Bowl?
It would be great if they included real honest card game. Not the pos like Card Tournament, but something like Magic the Gathering. You could win cards in fights with gorgeous hand draw art, exchange and play online eg. waiting in a lobby.

Best case scenario is that all three get hired by Namco as hype men. They can all provide different things. Rip can provide player expertise, while Aris can provide some personality and fun into the game, and Max can provide high quality events and tutorials.

Fingers To Fight 36 is in the books. Going to take a small break as my birthday is this coming Thursday and I should be on my way to FinalRound the week after that. The support of Tekken Tag 2 in wait for Tekken 7 is continuing. For the curious, here are the winners of Fingers To Fight so far.

What is this HUD for? Is it something you get when you are in the higher ranks?
I think the colored bars you can buy or win randomly.
Oh yeah, mk9 story is the best. MKX story is like weak movie sequel.
Speaking of MKX, I fired it up for the first time in months. Downloaded the latest patch.
These guys are pumping stuff in this game at impressive pace.
You can check up current dlc characters for free in special tower and I did. Wow they seem to make newer characters "fatter" I mean they have so much stuff they make some of the launch characters seem poor in comparison.
BoRaiCho moveset is so beefy he easily could be a Tekken character. Fantastic animation too. I wanna buy him, but I forgot to check the price, lol.
Tri-Borg is pretty impressive too, bar the dumb name. 4 robots in one is something(so he should be named Quatro-Borg). I still would like 2 separate cyborgs like Smoke and Sektor but it's pretty close.
They implemented new netcode but I didn't go online to check, whole day spent in training mode remembering the moves and combos for characters.
One funny thing I noticed. MKX is gore-porn everyone knows that right? But characters never actually sweared. Now with all these new characters they clearly recorded all new introduction dialogues for old characters vs new and the tone feels totally different then before. Way more rude, assholish and Johnny Cage suddenly just says fuck this, fuck that to BoRaiCho. I don't mind but the "swearing patch" is hilarious. It's just bit more primitive now.

I trust you Mark. I have so many ideas for stuff like this & I'm sure you do too. Work to make Tekken the powerhouse in the US it once was.

The US players were really good at T6 it seems albeit getting the game 2 years later.
I also noticed that T6 and TTT2 were at 2 EVOs each, but T7 is already at its second turn although it's not even out yet. I hope the game keeps staying relevant for long enough.

Twilight Princess has an amazing atmosphere. While it doesn't have a timeless look like say the Wind Waker, its gritty look and dark atmosphere is still preferred by me. I'll take realistic/dark Zelda over Saturday morning cartoon Zelda.
I was very excited when they showed the Zelda tech demo and very upset when it never got realized.
Though, I guess the Zelda in development right now still looks pretty darn good.
