Won't be going back to theatres at all. The noisy fuckin kids and teenage pissflaps tryin to teabag each other whilst the film is on is more than enough for me 😅

It reaches more people . Make it 6 / 10 bucks and see what happens.

But the old people won’t , they can’t, they calculate with old figures , theater visites times movie price .

But won’t look at the streaming audience ...

So instead of making it $10-$15 per person, your suggestion is to make it $6-$10 for 2-10 people at one time.
This makes more money how?

If there was a way to avoid spoilers, I'd probably never go to the theater again. Find a way to keep people's phones in their pockets at the cinema, and I'd be more interested in going.

Who the fu** is going to movie theaters right now?

If there was something worth watching I'd absolutely be there.

This is what people don't get. The cinema is meant to be the premium experience, that's how they justify the price. In truth my local cinemas are mixed. We have the Odeon with its sticky floors and uncomfortable seats but on the other hand the film is only £5, or we have a local independent posh cinema where you get a 2/3 person sofa but the tickets are about £10 each, oh and the food is fantastic too. I tend to go with the latter for films I'm super-hyped to see but sadly there's so little out there that justifies it that I'm currently just at home enjoying my Plex with all the classics.

So I watched it and people are right. You can’t hear the fucking characters talking half the time, especially in important bits.

the movie is overly complicated and convulted as shit. Wasn’t bad, wasn’t great either.
George Washington and Robert pattison were great it in though.

Nolan really has indulged himself with This shit

I saw it in IMAX and thought the dialogue was just poorly delivered half the time and usually in some accent that make the technobabble difficult to follow. Calling the lead "protagonist", him referring to himself like that as well, was incredibly distracting and hard to take seriously.

The inversion stuff was fun to watch visually but was handled poorly from a continuity perspective IMHO. I get they needed masks so the viewer can tell the streams apart but the explanation makes no sense, especially since they presumably need to eat and drink as well. Still, it was fun and a nice James Bondy type film with a hint of sci-fi.

I hope he continues to indulge himself with all future projects.

Never said that it was. But going to the cinema isn't important anymore to a lot of people. It's further irrelevant because hollywood has cast their lot in with the woke agenda so this doesn't have to be political to face the repercussions of woke hollywood.
Or maybe it's the fact people are scared of a virus that has now killed 200,000 people. Going to a movie is expensive and requires to be indoors. Just about every single business has been impacted by COVID and the theaters were shut down for months plus Tenet was barely released in theaters across the world and especially US.

You fucked up if you didn't see this in a cinema. Such a memorable experience.
There is plenty of time. It's not like there are a bunch of blockbuster movies releasing next week to take it's screens away.

This movie is the equivalent of Nolan wanking next to a ticking clock.

Open theaters in decking in COVID areas, check temps, wear mask, no refills, and hand sanitizer, because nobody will pay $30 for a movie at home.
