The link about the server marketshare leads me to the IDC frontpage. The search shows up too many results. The Windows server marketshare percentage is shrinking, you know it to be true.
The 2004 IDC server report listed Unix and Linux server sales at 1.48 million servers worldwide or 28.3% of server sales. IDC projects the 2008 Unix and Linux market share at 3.5 millions servers sold or 37.6% of the market.
Windows on palm pilots? When? Where? I remember hearing that PalmOne... or whatever they are calling themselves, the group that actually makes the Palm hardware was considering making future palms with different OS including possibly MS portable mobile client, but I hadn't seen that confirmed anywhere...
let's face it. MS XBox div sux dog balls coz it's a money pit. ask any person working for win/office and they crap over the xbox folks because they are sucking up the profits.
and SCEI? it's a disgrace. they have an overwhelming market share and yet they have problems breaking even at times.
only Nintendo makes money... but they make a kiddy machine.
And then both Microsoft and Sony will destroy their selves in an epic, bloody battle...leaving but one survivor in the smoldering ashes. May the N-Bots rise...AGAIN!
I wonder what's worse, being an N-bot that hopes some form of former glory returns, or an X-bot hoping Sony never makes a profit, when they pretty much always do eventually off the Playstation brand.
Either way, the Thugstation bots and the N-bots are on the sides of profitable companies in the game division.
