A lot of normal women and men look the same in his art style. When I first Saw flaminco or whatever his name is in the manga I thought he was zorro with shades because I saw him with out color.

Oda excels more creative takes on people, his unique people look the best. his particularly older people. But when its a normal healthy young looking person... it starts to blend together

I would like oda's next manga... whatever that might be to consist of monsters and funny looking folks, everyone would look different.

In one of the book collections, Oda says he draws to circles balanced on top of an X for the women. I'm almost 100% convinced this is true, and that his assistants fill in details.

yeah this protest seems like a real stretch

if i'm being real it sounds like some white environmental protesters using the BLM name to try to get attention for their protest, but maybe I'm wrong

It's a bunch of white middle class people appropriating a movement to push unrelated causes. Meanwhile black folk in this country continue to get ignored, even by movements that are supposed to represent the issues said ignored people are facing.

That's how fucked race relations in this country are.

Nowhere near the US, our police problems are more frequently the unfair treatment type. I'm not too familiar with Black Lives Matter UK. Seems like something you'd protest under a different name if you were earnest.

I mean skin color options seem more natural and varied in this game no? Or are my eyes deceiving me? The avatar customization options in this game look better than ever before. To be frank though, I was more talking about the NPC characters when discussing character designs.

Morning BCT, let me regale you with tales of this real life shit. I'm out here walking in the community and get ran down on by someone out the corner of my eye who appears to be wearing a red and blue flag. First off, did I miss the crips and bloods NATO peace treaty? Secondly, the dude was cool about it and chill but made me feel weird because I chose a completely different life path and listening to him was like staring in an old mirror.

We kicked it for a minute and discussed the perils of trying to stay on the straight and narrow path avoiding legal situations. The moral of the story is do not run down on someone or shit may be go south. Thankfully I was busy and heading to pay a bill.

The black NPC's in Pokemon always look great. I'm always upset that I can't really get the player trainer to look as good as any of them. Like that picture you posted for example, there is always something "off" looking about making the playable trainer black. I think it might be the tone of the black color they use. He just looks like a non black person who got painted a dark color instead of any actual black person.

I'm just shocked anyone is giving it a shot at all. But Smile was one of the weaker seasons full stop. I'm not going to complain that one of the weaker PC made a weak cartoon; I'm just gonna hope for more.

Pokemon ever since gen 4 the designs have increased greatly in quality for humans, because instead of making them look like rpg people... they dress at least similarly to how an actual person would dress, but with an rpg twist. Pokemon folks is fresh
